Right on bro! I hooked up with his first tape "Warren Zevon" in 1979 and was taken! All subsequent music of his hit me like a hammer. He was never well received, but no matter, his base was solid and he never disappointed. His piano skills rivaled his contemporaries. 😄
I agree, I just really like Warrens performance, and the lead guitar break is superb.. the Yardbirds also did a version, but I thought that it was bit dull in comparison. Thanks for your comment.
This is Warren at his amped-up best: Dancing, doing the splits and really pushing the urgency of the lyrics. Just dripping charisma with a great band backing him up. I really miss this guy.
To Warren's loved ones ... I've known Werewolves of London since it came on the radio and loved it, thanks to RUclips I've discovered heaps more WONDERFUL music by Warren and friends. What a talented man. Oh how I wish he'd lived many many more years to enjoy his Grandsons and children and friends. Feel lucky that he was in your lives. I'm going to buy Chrystal's book, I hope it does justice to a wonderful man.
YAY, I've been given Crystal's Book, I sooo wanted it. My daughter surprised me with it for my Birthday. Champing at the bit to get stuck into reading it! Thanks Crystal. Jean
Had the craziest dream last night. There was this certain girl, seemed like I knew her. Woke up and She's gone. Maybe I used to know her or maybe just a figment of the imagination. Either way I am blasting Warren
Robert Olesen It’s crazy how I found more about myself on Google than a skilled guitarist like that guy. Why is there no information out there on him? Is he even still alive? What’s he doing today?
Rock n' Rolls best kept secret. I discovered him late, but better late than never.

I love his performance here
He’s feeling it
Supposedly Warren went through rehab right before this tour and he was rather manic since he was clean for the first time in a decade.
LOL…and he did it all wearing eyeglasses!
There’s always at least one. Mr. Zevon, you rock
I worked at Wholefoods and this song was in the muzac. It was incredible and we loved it.
How good was Zevon. Awesome. LOVED the Capital Theater, as well. RIP Warren.
Like if you’re here in 2021. This is the most underrated man of all fucking time
This song spawned the invention of the "repeat song" button.

LOOKING SO MICK JAGGER
He should just announce it by whisper campaign and then "neither confirm nor deny" any resulting rumors.
Rhythm guitar guy didn’t get the memo that everybody besides Warren needs to wear a red shirt.
not nearly enough people know about Warren Zevon
most notably the rock and roll hall of fame
@@mikemcf33 screw the rock n roll Hall of Fame, they sold out bigtime when they started including rappers and hip hop "artists"
@@MrRandomcommentguy I agree with you. Once they let in Grandmaster Flash the whole thing went downhill.
