It was the LOB who won us that game, Russ was just our QB, and just because he's a QB doesn't mean that it's because of him that we win or lose. Yes it's a VERY important position, but our Defense Killed Denver in that Super Bowl. Nearly any QB would have been a winner that day!
I always appreciated Russ Wilson as an NFL QB and what he brings to the table, but I do think it's likely that his body of work moving forward will demonstrate that the situation he was in (during the Seahawks' golden run w/ LOB) played a not-insignificant role in shaping his legacy as a top QB. I think he's not quite as good as his win-loss record would indicate. Elite defenses and top-tier rushing attacks helps a lot!!
Rodgers won a SB??? Oh yeah, it was so long ago I don't remember! I actually can't remember the last time he won a game any game that was meaningful!!!
Ok, so hear me out: there were several crucial downs Denver failed to convert. If they don’t convert this one, it’s over. Maybe he was looking at it like, they can risk losing by going for it or risk winning it by trying the FG. Secondly, Russ has a lot of pressure right now(Denver is supposed to dethrone KC, you know-and the Chargers are supposed to finish second) so if he doesn’t convert, the story is Russ losing. Coach Hackjob didn't run full pads in camp, no pre-season, days spent putting in 5 captains. This team has no leadership.
Rich Eisen, you lost me when you stated that Russ won us our SB. Did you watch the game?
Tom Dempsey of Saints kick a 63 yarder. In 68,69 or 1970?
What a Dummy. No way that kicker was making a 64 yarder at basically sea level when his farthest was 61 yards in Denver's high altitude.
Instead, the story is the coach…
They also wasted something like 25 seconds before the two minute warning.
Broncos didn't "trade everything for the guy" and this was definitely NOT "Russ' stadium anymore"
We 12s live Rich so much that want to play the Jets in the SB - how fun will that be
Wow! I guess I never realized how annoying Rich Eisen is. This was really annoying.
The delay is killing me
meanwhile here in New England , the media are trying to shove Belichick out the door
That game was a Vegas special
This guy proved night 1 he’s not HC material. Good luck, Denver.
Mention the 12's love the show
i think it is a test for later in the season when needed... i think people are being too critical and i am a hawks fan
We wanted Russ to cook. Now we eat at Geno's
Pundits keep talking about two fumbles, totally glossing over 3 dropped interceptions🙄👍
Why can't you give Seahawks some credit!!! They played damb good game!!! Who says they whould off made it with good management!!
If it was a 69 yard try then Russ could ask the coach for a 5 yard try right?😂
Just because you may be a good/great offensive or defensive coordinator doesn't mean you're going to be a good/great head coach. I agree with a previous comment. If Hackett is scared of the moment after week 1, its only going to get worse. This was why the broncos traded to get Russell Wilson ????
Field goal makes no sense but more so when you are 4th and inches to the goal you just QB sneak it or at the very least you don't run the exact same play both times.
