Nice work, the undercoating looks very original. I'm looking for that on a restoration of mine. Can I ask what material you're using & who's gun? Thanks

The material and spray gun is from 3m. But you could also use whatever spray gun you wishes to use

Thanks for your response. I know you're focused on collision repair vs restoration but I'd like to replicate the finish on a classic car. The car is a 1973 Porsche 911. I have a couple of Schutz guns & have experimented with different materials. My results look too thin & dry compared to the original undercoating. Also the final undercoating is too hard. The factory apply a rubbery coating that's no longer available. I believe it was supplied by 3M & sprayed on hot from 45 gallon drums. Could you provide a bit more information on what you are using, ie, Gun model, Undercoating type & Air pressure? Other viewers may be interested in a demo as well. Thanks in advance.@@carbondostructural7691

Should pull it out first with a frame machine then work it with a hammer and block of wood.
