This movie will always be one of the best movies, let alone sports movies, ever. The first time I saw it, I wept so hard. More people definitely need to watch this if not for the sports and story but the lessons on how to get along with everyone of a different background. Learn to love and hate will never leave the darkness it comes from.
i loved the movie until i found out literally the entire story was pretty much made up and 90% of the shit in here didnt actually happen - but hollywood needed that race aspect of it to sell it so here we are
"I hope something doesn't happen to him". The second the film's soundtrack starts in with James Tsylor's FIRE AND RAIN....something is going to happen to someone.
Dude, I got so excited when I saw you were watching this. Growing up, my family would watch a handful of movies regularly and this was a big one. I went years without watching it until a few months ago and it hits so much harder now that I'm older. Keep up the amazing content bro!
Training Day, Devil in a Blue Dress, John Q, Malcolm X, Antwon Fisher, American Gangster, The Little Things, Fallen, He Got Game(great sports movie as well) All great Denzel movies that you’d most likely love. Keep up the fire content 🤞🏾
Awesome movie, a true classic. RIP Coach Boone, Yoast, Gerry and Julius A few other Denzel movies that are great are, Ricochet, Malcolm X, John Q (Major Tear Jerker), Training Day, Man on Fire, American Gangsta.
This is by far the my favorite and to me the best football movie of all time its just so good the cast the music the tension everything was so perfect 💯🔥
I remember when Madden RUclipsrs would always make a full team made up of just the players from the Titans, that's how Iconic this movie is and how impactful it is when everyone still remembers the story of the Titans. Even more memorable than the Tennessee Titans
Denzel movies i really like. The Hurricane, The Manchurian Candidate, Crimson Tide, Book of Eli, Man on Fire, Antwone Fisher, Deja Vu, John Q., Roman J. Israel Esq., Out of Time, Fallen, Safe House, 2 Guns, The Magnificent Seven, The Bone Collector, Training Day, American Gangster, Inside Man, Philadelphia, He Got Game, Courage Under Fire, The Pelican Brief, The Siege, The Taking of Pelham 123, Unstoppable, Malcolm X, Flight, The Equalizer 1 and 2
Other football movies i really like are. Friday Night Lights, The Replacements, The Program, Draft Day, We Are Marshall, Invincible, The Longest Yard, Radio, Varsity Blues, Any Given Sunday, The Waterboy, Jerry Maguire, Rudy
I love this movie. It was a big part of my childhood. The love for your brother is STRONG in this movie Give respect get respect. Action reflects leadership
Another movie that dives into these topics is the color of friendship. I just got done watching it after 20 years. It hits hard and it's also a true story
Epic reaction as always, I love how involved you get into the story, and this one is a childhood favorite! If you liked this one, I'd also recommend Coach Carter! Keep it up!
Absolutely love Remember The Titans and Denzel Washington's films. One of my favorites from Denzel would have to be Training Day 🔥 and of course the Equalizer films.
My old man was a racist, and straight up hated black people and actors, for no reason. I showed him this movie and he went down the rabbit hole of Denzel movies. I'd like to say this movie did a lot for my family.
I really enjoyed watching this movie for the first time. I understand movies have parts of it that’s just kinda unrealistic. Like being paralyzed in a car crash yet well enough to be up and talking to people in the same night at the hospital lol. But they still did a good job.
This is such a great movie. If you like Hockey or just a great underdog story the movie Miracle is fantastic. Side note Gerry Bertier did play in the championship game in real life. His accident wasn’t until after the season was over. He was killed 10yrs later because a drunk driver crossed over the middle line and crashed into him.
My Personal Favorites with Denzel (in addition to this one) include "Virtuosity, Crimson Tide, The Bone Collector, John Q., Man on Fire, Deja Vu and Unstoppable!" If you're also curious to see some other Good Football flicks, I can recommend "The Replacements" and "The Longest Yard" ('05)!
Fun fact Ryan Hurst who played Gerry played in son's of anarchy as Opie and the walking dead he was beta so if he looks familiar that's why I love Ryan Hurst his definitely one of my favorite actors stu is my favorite character though
That's awesome. Every once in a while someone in different situations will say "How many feet are in a mile again?" or "Can you tell me how many feet are in a mile?" I always respond almost immediately half shouting. "5280 feet!, You pick up that ball and you run every one of them!" "You're killing me!" Half the people look at my like I'm crazy, the others just laugh. They know what I'm about haha.
Best football movies that I know: The Replacements Friday Night Lights Draft Day Varsity Blues Necessary Roughness Rudy We Are Marshall The Waterboy The Blind Side Invincible The Program Leatherheads There are more, but these were off the top of my head.
Man, just discovered your channel earlier today and I absolutely love the list of movies you're reacting to. All the classic sci-fi: Terminator, Alien, Predator; then stuff like Gladiator, Jurassic Park, Batman, Matrix. List just goes on and on. And the best part is, you react to the entire franchise, you ignore the naysayers and finish what you start regardless of movie popularity and like/hate ratios. Fucking gold mine of a reaction channel bro. I'm super tight on money this month, but I'm highly considering Patreon real soon.
I grew up in Houston and graduated in 1964 without ever going to school with a Black kid. I did in college. The white guy vibing is a young Ryan Gosling. According to what I have read they made the other teams look better because 9 or the 13 games their first year were shut-outs.
As you were talking about more Denzel movies: My top 3 Denzel movies are: 1) Crimson Tide (strong cast, with Denzel, Gene Hackman, James Gandolfini, Viggo Mortensen) 2) Glory (also a strong cast, with Denzel, Morgan Freeman, Matthew Broderick, Cary Elwes) 3) Training Days (Denzel, Ethan Hawke)
I’ve been a fan of Donald Faison ever since Scrubs in the 2000s. Had no idea he was an amazing underdog in a movie like this. We always Remember The Titans. LEFT SIDE!
this, training day and john q are probably my 3 favorite denzel movies...he never really misses pretty much everythig he put out is good gotta honorably mention american gangster though
Even if only on your own, watch The Express. My favorite football movie, and one of my favorites of all time overall. Not as popular as this one, but similar. And great.
I highly recommend Training Day. I came out of that screening and instantly said to my mates and anyone listening 'Denzel is winning an Oscar for that'. Yes indeed my man won that Oscar. Well deserved.
If you haven’t seen Deja Vu, definitely check that one out! Stars Denzel and Paula Gorgeous Patton. Also to piggy back off that.. another one is Inside Man. A great crime thriller directed by Spike Lee. Starring Denzel as well.
The coach that Denzel Washington was portraying, Herman Boone, was fired from his job in 1979 after he was accused of getting into physical altercations with his players before the football game would begin.
A random Denzel film that doesn't get as much fanfare nowadays is Virtuosity. Definitely recommend you check that out if you haven't already. It's a trip.
Great reaction. This is one of my favorite movies as well. If you haven't seen Antwon Fisher, that's another excellent Denzel film. The Hurricane is, too. The Bone Collector is also good but not as powerful as the others: still, Denzel is great in it. And Queen Latifah and Angelina Jolie are also in that one.
I remember when my Dad once showed me this movie, he wanted me to watch something good for me since I was watching all garbage as a kid and this movie stuck with me ever since. Really shaped a good chuck of who I am today.
John Q with Denzel, it's also based on a true story. HEART WRENCHING, so be warned. I love Denzel so much. He is right behind Tom Hanks and Morgan Freeman for my favorite actors. I don't think I have seen a reaction to John Q but it is really a great movie. Denzel's performance is amazing in it!

imo Denzel's most underrated role is John Q. Lots of great roles come to mind, but John Q seems to always be left out of the conversation.
James Woods is great in that movie too.
Absolutely agree; I love John Q
Absolutely...... Very tough film to watch... Even tougher once you have children
Absolutely. I need a reaction to this
This. I’m think of that quote, and scene any time someone mentions Denzel.
This movie will always be one of the best movies, let alone sports movies, ever. The first time I saw it, I wept so hard. The scene where Lastik tells Boone that he's going to college gets me every time!
For me it’s when Gerry tells the nurse Julius is his brother.
Yup.
@@bradcarver8127 Both.
"I hope something doesn't happen to him". The second the film's soundtrack starts in with James Tsylor's FIRE AND RAIN....something is going to happen to someone.

All great Denzel movies that you’d most likely love. Keep up the fire content 🤞🏾
John Q is criminally underrated.
@@bradcarver8127 facts! he went hard for his family…not talked about enough amongst Denzel’s films
Antwone Fisher is sooooo good and underrated. So many great performances in that film. The one scene with Viola Davis alone.
@@tiara29963 I personally like the scene in which he revisits his “family” …Derek Luke is an underrated actor as well.
Dude it itsaprime hasn't seen training day yet, he has to! It's honestly one of my favorite Denzel movies
Awesome movie, a true classic.
RIP Coach Boone, Yoast, Gerry and Julius

This is probably most of his movies lmao
Man On Fire with Denzell is a must watch!!!!!!!!
Speaking of Louie getting into shape - the actor has gotten absolutely shredded over the last decade or so. He’s jacked as hell now.
There are a lot of good Denzel movies! I would suggest Deja vu. It's a cool sci-fi thriller
My favourite Denzel Washington film is American gangster. Really shows off his pure acting skills like this film did.
Other football movies i really like are. Friday Night Lights, The Replacements, The Program, Draft Day, We Are Marshall, Invincible, The Longest Yard, Radio, Varsity Blues, Any Given Sunday, The Waterboy, Jerry Maguire, Rudy

You should watch Miracle, great sports movie about one of the biggest moments in sports history

Training Day!! My favorite Denzel performance and an absolute classic

Your parents values and the way you were raised is part of what makes up who you are. It’s great to see when people are able to overcome that.
No Gettysburg scene? That's my favorite scene of the movie followed closely by the confronting the ref scene.
