This was the first Denzel Washington movie I actually sat down for and paid attention to. One of, if not my all time favorite sports dramas. I had at least one teacher in every grade of middle school put this movie on at the end of the year when we'd just hang in the classrooms and for good reason. Many of the lines Coach Boone has said Ive often found myself saying to people I teach in my martial arts classes and my nieces and nephews
The things they don't talk about. For some of my favorite Denzel Washington movies, I really enjoyed The Equalizer, Man on Fire, Courage Under Fire, Fallen, Deja Vu and my favorite favorite is John Q. Pack some tissues if you watch John Q. I think it's one of his best. He's got so many great performances. Looking forward to seeing your reaction to as many as you watch. Take care and be safe.
I love in the final game when Denzel is yelling at the ref you can see the actor is trying his best not to laugh lol
