I am very interested to see how BTK inhibitors work in progressive MS. Preliminarily, drugs like masitinib seem to be somewhat less effective than b-cell depleters in stopping relapses and new MRI lesions. However, they are likely significantly less deleterious (in terms of risk of infection) in the long run in my opinion.
Thank you, from someone with smouldering MS. Doing what I can, through diet and exercise, to dampen progression, but looking forward to treatments becoming available in due course, as well as remyelination therapies.
Glad there are smart people like people like this out there!

Do any of the current MS DMTs at all touch smouldering MS, such as dimethyl fumarate, perchance?
Very good. Thank you.
remission soon at a cheaper cost
