This idea of mix and match is also a fun way to create a signature hair style that can be adapted to most era (or a nice way to adapt a modern hairstyle into a vintage look)

I don’t wear them myself, but they would absolutely work well and are a good option.

Regardless of what was 'officially' fashionable, women and men have always been in a position to decide what variations of fashion suit them best. I have never seen photos of ordinary people who are wearing exact replicas of what were the Instagram styles of the day. Anyone who says different hasn't done their research.
Same with clothing and accessories. People would have had hand me downs from sisters or parents. Very few people would have been able to afford 100% up to date. Or even wanted it

Thank you, Christine! For me, it always seems incredibly difficult to create a hairstyle. Your tutorial really helps to see in detail that creating a beautiful hairstyle is real and may not be difficult. Thank you 🙏

I'm all about quick and easy when it comes to styling my hair in a vintage hairstyle. Especially when I have to cut back on the styling products and let my stressed-out scalp rest. Thankfully there are styles I am able to do with a hairnet and bobby pins.
Plus, for work I have to wear a hairnet and a baseball cap and it's all about styling the back of my hair. And I am not a fan of the plain old bun, I use a hair clip and I put bows over it to secure the hairnet to the back of my hair. This way I will not have to constantly touch my hair and it helps keep the hairnet on my head when I bobby pin the top sides and use baby bow clips that I found in the baby section. And when I remove my baseball cap, I have to be able to make sure my lady pomp is looking nice and full when I am done working, too, so far so good.
Thank you so much for these tips and tricks it's going to also help me keep me from being frustrated due to not wanting to wear the same hairstyle all the time.

I'd love to try those but these are not for thin/fair hair 🥲

I disagree, these styles can absolutely be worn with anyone with thin or fine hair. There are many options to choose from and I've seen lots of people with fine hair wear similar styles.

Imo you wasted 12 minutes of the video just talking about styles, and then you just speed through the final style. What you should've done is used that wasted 12 minutes to go through the style you showed slowly and with commentary, which would've been much more usueful than wasting 22 minutes of my time with basically a video of you showing off what styles you can create.
