You guys killed it! Awesome rendition! Bill Bruford is my favorite drummer, and Red is one of my favorite King Crimson songs. You really nailed the spirit and intensity. Morten and Torkil were exceptional, as well. I used to have a Music Man JP6 like Morten's, so it's nice to see one being used in an awesome song like this.
Bill is one of the most creative drummers out there! I take a lot of inspiration from his music. I was close to doing something by UK or Bruford, but Red is a classic for sure. You should check out both Morten and Torkils music while you’re at it! Both in their own prog-renditions. Cheers man!
this was super groovy and locked-in, excellent job all around. bonus points for all the players being into it! additonal bonus points for that funky stack aaaaaand the gretsch bronze snare

Great cover! Really enjoyed seeing the different instruments, and especially the mid-section, when you showed the different guitar sections. Excited for more!
Hei Andreas, drit gøy å se deg spille med Våde i tideligere i kveld på fjellparks festivalen, du spiller veldig tight å bra, tusen takk from trommestikkene 🤘🤘🤘❤️❤️❤️

Can you be so friendly to give me information on the cymbals "you" used ?? I like this actually MUCH better than every crimson live version since 74 also the overdubs with the bottleneck/ e bow combination is more suiting to the overall serious tone of the song annd the modern tone to it but the old school way to play it is super brutal.
Sure man! From my left: Agop 30th anniversary hihats (15), Sabian Vault (20), Sabian hhx china (20) on top of a Meinl Byzance china (22), Agop dark crash (22), Sabian Legacy (19). Thanks for the kind words :)
Uncanny 😮. Hats off to you cats . Thank you.

Cheers man! Snare is actually a bell brass. But bronze would also fit the bill! 👊
@@AndreasSjoen what'd you put underneath that hhx china? i'm still looking for various stack combos too
@@Hontonoki This one is a meinl Byzance 22". It´s quite aggressive acoustically. I´ve had good results combining the hhx with ozone-type cymbals also!
