    You guys killed it! Awesome rendition! Bill Bruford is my favorite drummer, and Red is one of my favorite King Crimson songs. You really nailed the spirit and intensity. Morten and Torkil were exceptional, as well. I used to have a Music Man JP6 like Morten's, so it's nice to see one being used in an awesome song like this.

      Bill is one of the most creative drummers out there! I take a lot of inspiration from his music. I was close to doing something by UK or Bruford, but Red is a classic for sure. You should check out both Morten and Torkils music while you’re at it! Both in their own prog-renditions. Cheers man!

      @@AndreasSjoen har du noen generelle teknik tips for metal trommer?🤘

    • @AndreasSjoen
      @AndreasSjoen  Год назад

      @@the.better.guess.again. Prøv å slappe av i kroppen (så langt det lar seg gjøre)! Ikke glem å puste hehe. Og fokuser på å spille mest mulig med håndleddene. Hvis du har for lite bevegelighet i håndledd så kan man få vondt av å spille hardt etter hvert. Bli bevisst på slagtypene: Full-Stroke, down-stroke, up-stroke, tap-stroke! Dette gjelder spesielt for tysk grep (German grip), som jeg oftest bruker. Hvis du er interessert i å spille veldig fort, bør du sjekke ut finger-teknikk (french grip). Men viktigst: spill musikk du kicker på! Og sjekk ut forskjellige metall-trommiser!

    Can you be so friendly to give me information on the cymbals "you" used ?? I like this actually MUCH better than every crimson live version since 74 also the overdubs with the bottleneck/ e bow combination is more suiting to the overall serious tone of the song annd the modern tone to it but the old school way to play it is super brutal.
