What does that mean, I eat both and love both
Potatoes are vegetables. The only thing in this video that wasn't vegetarian were the eggs and bacon. Vegetarian's can substitute a bean mash or curry, beets, asparagus, and a few other things for the eggs and bacon in the breakfast flower idea.

Hey y'all, just wanted to say that my mum and I attempted to make the potato-log-looking thing (0:43) a while back. I'm not sure what sort of baking paper they use, but ours somehow managed to both STICK to the paper, and FALL APART.
Needless to say, it ended up as a sort of "peel and eat dinner", where we had the messed up food in the middle of the table, and everyone at it trying to ignore the paper still _very much_ attached to it.
I know I’m late but did your mother use yellow potatoes? If not I highly recommend it as yellow potatoes don’t fall apart.
Ik this was years ago, I recommend using COLD potatoes when molding. After molding them freeze them then fry!!

I've made the scalloped Roll a couple of times now. It is simply amazing. With Beef or Chicken or Tuna! I even replaced the Ricotta with a low fat yogurt. Use your fantasy and you can make it even healthy.
