I just started to watch it again last week and wow, it's a trip because we're there, sure missing flying cars and space travel but everything else. I have in some form, crazy
One scene I remember from the Jetsons is during a school class of Elroy one of his fellow students is disciplined for watching the Flintstones[ on a wrist watch television which predicted mini portable TVs.

Here is my version of a live action Jetsons (this is what my version of a live action Jetsons should look like)
The Jetsons
Plot:in this live-action reboot/reimagining we follow a family named the Jetsons in the year 2769 humanity went through a Third World War that results in the earth becoming devastated and left empty humanity retreats into the skies to survive The Jetsons family are a working class family However they accidentally crashed into the surface and meet survivors who are named in novissimis spem, Who are a galaxy wide resistance group Who is fighting the government the Jetsons lived and worked for and now they must join this single-handed battle to save the Milky Way from a being named the eye as this might be their ultimate battle yet

Trivia and differences between the live-action reboot and the original cartoon
The live action Jetsons takes place in 2769 rather than 2062
Astro is portrayed as a normal dog rather than a CGI one

Instead of using the 60s version of Sci-fi/future technology it will use our current era’s version of sci-fi/future technology where everything looks so modern and not retro
It will have a Post-Cyberpunk setting rather than a atompunk setting
The comedy and humor will be replaced with black comedy and black comedy humor
The backstory For the world building of the Jetsons live-action reboot will be darker edgier grittier and more serious with the themes of war thermal nuclear/nuclear apocalypse wasteland and evil AI gone rogue
It will be revealed that the world the Jetsons takes place that the Jetsons live in was created thru WW3 that lasted from 2062 to 2070 (aka it lasted for 8 years) and takes place 699 years after it ended & orbit city and the floating buildings and floating cities & spaceships and refugee spaceships were built by the survivors of WW3 retreated into the first few floating cities and buildings and spaceships and refugee spaceships were built & orbit city and floating buildings and cities became a home away from home for humanity to survive but the plot twist revealed the eye is the true cause of the Third World War after it turned sentient and declared war on humanity and in the aftermath of the third world war it took control of the human race and a large chunk of the Milky Way and it’s up to the Jetsons to defeat the eye to save the Milky Way
The people that would work on my version of a live action Jetsons will learn from the mistakes of the Flintstones Scooby Doo yogi bear & other live action Hanna-Barbera adaptations
Michael giacchino will do his homework and research on the Jetsons soundtrack in my version of a live action Jetsons
The same effects used for the Star Trek Kelvin timeline film series Tomorrowland 2015 movie (regardless of what you think on that movie) Battlestar Galactica (2004 series) and modern day science-fiction shows and movies and franchises in the present day etc will be used

When you look back George and Jane really are happily married and good parents. Neither are perfect and have their quirks. George can easily get frazzled and overthink things while Jane can be too relaxed and easygoing. However, these two are also normally careful to not having any problems beyond the occasional marriage scrabbles and both are deeply involved with both of their childrens' lives creating a close and trusting family unit. It is implies in the films that while they don't normally openly show it, they both can be capable and ready to get into danger if it mean protecting their kids if the situation is truly serious.
The Flintsones was actually ahead of its time. It portrayed two couples that could be viewed as having infertility issues

I liked the Jetsons, but I always thought the reboot 1980's took place in the 25th Century. Another video should be the other 1 season family show The Roman Holidays.

The nuclear family is needed today
I like the ‘62 aesthetic I hate the ‘80s version. It looks cheap and silly in comparison. And whenever a “cutesy” child friendly character is added a show is always much worse. If they do make a new iteration of the show I hope they stick something resembling the early ‘60s and not the cheap looking ‘80s.
2024 and women are still lousy drivers.
