This is my second favorite Scooby series out of them all for many reasons, including pure nostalgia. I actually really enjoy the unique animation style, the villain is absolutely hilarious, if you pay attention the jokes and comedic timing are really great, and the story line always kept me interested. I also love the angle of the genetically enhanced Scooby Snacks, it definitely adds a fun twist to the show and makes for some great situational comedy. All in all, I think it's a gem and I wish more people could get past the minor annoyances and see how good a show this is.

To be honest, I don’t think “lack of means” was ever really a problem for the Mysteries Inc gang-there was always an easy enough explanation for why they were somewhere in the world, or in space, or hanging out with a celebrity guest, etc. Like IDK that making Shaggy and Scooby rich and then giving them a cast of villains is that fundamental of a change from the original formula

In Romania, season 1, the only one aired, was always on reruns and I used to watch it pretty often. While it obviously was not the best Scooby Doo series, I still liked it and it's one of the most memorable for me due to being one of the few with an original overall arc(breaking the repetitive unmasking ghosts plot), giving Shaggy and Scooby distinct personalities apart from eating and running in fear, featuring recurring characters and a main antagonist, thus trying to carve it's own standalone place in the large Scooby Doo franchise. Hope it would get more love in the future.

I like this show. Is simple, light hearted, unique and fun. I think it's in a perfect spot, being different to what came both before and after.
I think the dynamic between this and Mystery Inc. is like Shrek and The Prince of Egypt (if Shrek didn't become of the most important pillars of modern pop culture); the funny, not very serious story to have some fun and the big complex masterpiece closer to art than entertainment.

I very much love this show when it came out enjoying the mystery of where Uncle Albert (voiced by the original voice of Shaggy that being Casey Kasey) was which I like to see the 2 solve mysteries without the rest of the gang, the various characters that Scooby (voiced by the man himself Frank Welker who also was Menace) & Shaggy (voiced by Scott Menville who also was Dr. Trebla) had to face like Phineus Phibes (voiced by Jeff Bennett who also was Agent 2), the scooby snack powers that Scooby can get, so its sad that it doesn’t get a lot of attention

This art style for scooby & the gang is amazing. Reminds me of the first season of American Dragon Jake Long or like you (Jordan) said, Venture Bros but more crisp. That’s something bittersweet about your videos though is it puts us all onto shows/spin offs that we may not remember or ever heard of but I can already tell the kid me would’ve ATE this version up lol. Haven’t even watched it yet but can tell it was definitely refreshing to see as far as Scooby series and I hate this one couldn’t go anywhere else. I never had the option to watch the series but I did read about it when I was catching up on Scooby Doo later. After seeing it, YES the Venture Brothers vibe is definitely there and actually I count that as a plus. I can see that there were limitations and only a short run, and cutting down on Velma, Daphne and Fred would have made it less enjoyable to me. The main thing would be I thought the plot was interesting and some of the concepts seem to have continued on in later Scooby Doo lore (Nanobots were important again later)

I've never heard much of this series. I guess it was the timing and the fact it never showed on the other networks. The thing about Shaggy and Scooby is they're one of the most memorable comedy duos around; they've been around since 1969, and as cartoons you can keep doing things with them, even pairing them up with superheroes and celebrities, and none of it seems out of place. The aspects that they eat a lot and run constantly from danger but in the end help catch the bad guys make them some of the most complete cartoon characters around.

I like how willing you are to give shows a chance and see if they have anything good to offer. It's so easy to trash on something and make a rage video out of it because, let's be honest, venting about things is pretty therapeutic. But if you only complain about the bad stuff it can lead you to a cynical mindset, which is a thing I find all too common amongst reviewers. So it's nice to see someone who looks on the bright side regardless of the show's quality.

Your video is giving me such a weird deja vu like feeling. I was watching Kids WB when this show was airing, I recognize all the new characters and the art style change of the existing characters. But I recall nothing about the story or setting.

I loved that Scooby Doo series for some reasons when I was younger. I had so much fun while watching it.

I watched every episode of this show every Saturday morning. The gimmick where each Scooby snack unlocks a different power is very videogame-esque

I loved this show so much as a tween, in fact I sat down to watch it even more than What’s New because WN was way too early in the morning for me at that point.

The Scooby series I definitely have the least experience with. It not getting re-airs on Cartoon Network definitely didn't help. I half expected Jordan to say it landed on Max streaming, but it's instead Boomerang streaming service 🤣😅. Really does feel like WB wants people to forget about it for whatever reason; maybe Velma could get that same treatment next 😬.

I freaking love Scooby and grew up on the old because my parents loved watching cartoons they grew up with, plus most of the remakes as they were releasing them, but I have never seen this one :0 Zombie Island is still my jam xD

I loved this as a kid and generally really like futuristic or space themed renditions of properties. So the nanobot Scooby thing was super cool to me.
