Sort of. Being a teenager in the 70s brought us the TV show “Happy Days” and the movie “Grease”. Lots of people were nostalgic for the 50s then.
While the 60s brought us the space race lots of people were not happy with how the cultural landscape was changing including the idea of allowing civil rights. Plus that young people of the period weren’t happy about being conscripted into foreign wars that made no sense.

I don't think the Jetson's predicted the future but if anything the Jetson's did give ideas for the advancement of technology. Even though it only took roughly about 40 years with Steve Jobs of Apple to lead the way and other electronic manufacturers to follow and to continually to advance. I remember back in the mid 90's when the internet was a huge deal but the only way that anyone could use it was to have a clunky computer setup that took quite a bit of space and not to mention all the wiring that was needed to hook the internet up. About ten years later broadband replaced dial-up and made life much easier rather than hearing "GET OFF THE INTERNET I AM EXPECTING A CALL!" or "I tried calling you numerous times but the line was busy!". Then over time, things that once were big and clunky now fit in the palm of our hands to a point that no matter where we are or what we need, we can do it with just a touch on our phones.

Apple just popularized or plagiarized tech that already existed. They really didn't invent much.
The first multi touch touchscreen phone was the LG Prada running Android before the iPhone came out.
Siri was Androids Edwin digital assistant until they bought the company that made the software and skinned it.
Tango and Skype were already a thing on Android before FaceTime even existed.

Time for The Jetsons live action movie!!!!
The Flintstones live action had amazing details in the early 90s. There’s so much can be done for The Jetsons.
The movie, though, would have to begin with the birth of George in 2022. His parents will be introduced in the hospital room while they watch the news on a flatscreen TV recapping the events of humanity struggles. (Covid Pandemic, inflation, baby formula shortage , climate change). George’s parents speculate about the world they are bringing their baby into and what the world will become for him and his generation .They get a FaceTime call from Montague Jetson. George’s grandfather.
Then, fast forward to 2062 to see the writers predictions of how the world and humanity has (may) change.
I think about that because my little one was born in 2022 ! George’s parents are the representation of today’s parents speculating their children’s adult futures.

No-fly zones already exist along with limits on how low you are allowed to fly (known in aviation as the minimum safe altitude). Even if you do fly lower, common logic denotes that the absolute lowest limit exists in the form of that thing we call the ground.

In the 80s, as kids, we joked about the Jetsons never happening.
Here in 2024, it feels like we're a lot closer to the Jetsons happening ahead of schedule. Less than 40 more years to go, and we have almost hit their tech level.

To be fair, a lot of historic sources seemed to be in love with predicting the coming of the flat screen. I mean that H.G. Well's Things To Come not only promoted the idea, but that they would potentially be massive in size. Most recent viewing where I saw this prediction was out of a Three Stooges movie. Used as a gag, the Stooges were concealing a functional refrigerator inside a functional television set. The TV screen gave a clear image of a show in progress. Only the screen doubled at the refrigerator door, giving access to the food inside. And this literally shows no bulky tubes or electronics were behind the screen. A literal flat screen TV with seemingly modern designed electronics in use. They also doubled down on the same idea later into the movie when the Martians were doing a Zoom style call to their HQ on a flat screen. There are many other references to be found, as well. Just a bad one comes mind... Star Wars Holiday Special.
My suspicion about this is that back in those days, they had movie projectors. Which would place the image onto a flat, fabric screen. Which just naturally leads the unconscious mind into dreaming that in the future, the image would appear in much the same way via some as-of-yet unknown technology that removes the remote projection device from the works.
Personally, I'm kind of impressed with how The Jetsons very loosely predicted the coming of E-Sports by electronically controlled robots in football. Now had they simplified the control interface and placed it into a virtual place...

    Who had the watch first.
Detective Dick Tracy’s famous watch communicator, which first appeared on his wrist in 1946, was a two-way radio link with police headquarters. It was atom-powered and supremely hi-tech.
    The Jetsons, not until 1962

I think Dick Tracy Comic Strip introduced the wrist watch as a communication device in 1946. This could be considered a precursor to The Jetsons' device.

There’s only one very serendipitous original idea is the peekaboo prober which did happen but, despite now having better technology, it just stayed a curiosity that hasn’t caught on. The rest existed or had been thought of previously or were just futuristic tropes.

I wonder how 3d printed food will affect our bodies. Will it be as good for our bodies?
I am a little scared about fling cars. How high off the ground would the roads for fling cars be? If you get too high off the ground, then the smalls crash or breck down that would be harmless if happened on the ground could be dangerous or deadly if it happened to high up.
The Jetsons had moving sidewalks. In a way we have them now. In some places, like in airports, they have moving sidewalks.
