A Terra/Roxas team attack being referenced there at all is especially interesting when you remember that none of the Guardians even had team attacks until ReMind. Just more evidence that the Keyblade Graveyard was rushed in development, I guess.
It’s strange that reanimating let it go 1-1 was a higher priority than polish for the finale, the reason people bought the game lmao
@@biggreen1456 The prerendered cutscenes were almost certainly handled by a separate department, so I wouldn't say it took priority over the finale. Although the ending FMV ALSO clearly needed more polish since the ReMind patch touched it up as well XD
Hey, at least it’s the most finished and polished Unreal Engine 4 game I’ve played.
“More evidence?” The game was worked on for 5 years in its final state. Content has to be cut sometimes. That doesn’t mean the game is rushed. Look at all the cut content of the other KH games (which had much shorter Dev times). Does that mean they were rushed too?
@@Erikthedood I really have to point out that the ReMind patch making significant edits to a number of cutscenes and visual/audio elements purely in the Keyblade Graveyard and ending FMV is a pretty obvious indicator that the team was running out of time before the initial release.
And this is before we get into a significant chunk of the paid ReMind content largely just being an excuse to redo the finale.
I would've loved to see an interaction between Terra and Roxas. "...Why do you look like Ven?" "Your guess is as good as mine."
But we ended up have Lea make that interaction when he meets Ven.
I feel like the unused sora HUD was meant during the xehanort fight underwater, bc he looks like he's drowing

2:12 Looking at this hud made me realize just how much I missed the hand drawn portraits that the past games had.
In the secert episode doesnt yozora say something about how his current form isnt his normal one? What if that scrapped yozora design might be related to how hes supposed to look like? Obviously its a leak and was never meant to be seen by the public but its intriguing knowing that Yozoras true form is still unknown from what i remember.
Don't forget that there was a fully modelled Casual Outfit version of GoGo Tomago from Big Hero 6

I do consider it plausible since the Ice Labyrinth DOES ultimately feel completely out of nowhere as-is in the final game and forcing Square Enix to change and/or discard stuff they already were working on because "brand image" does feel like something the modern Disney exec's would do...
It doesn't help that 2019 was also the year Frozen 2 was due to come out so Disney's execs were probably also worried that letting KH3 take liberties with the first movie's plot would "confuse" people somehow. :/
What if the idea of Sora being on the Invictus cover was that its Yozora's true form and that Unreality is a mirror that has different versions of the characters we know?
Sora's Unreality counterpart is Yozora, so what if people like Riku or Kairi also have Unreality conterparts that look like them?
My guess is that the unused Sora icon is for when he running out of breath underwater. The idea was probably scrapped early in development when they hadn't made Sora's pirate outfit yet.
I actually played the Showcase back when it was happening, you were only able to play for 30-ish minutes to a 1 hour (Enough to finish one world) then you had to go elsewhere

The hud mockup on #6 also has a second command list behind the main one, meaning KH 3 could have had a second tab just like KH 2 did!

I think the ultimate question is, how the hell would Sora, Donald and Goofy look like as Cars? Maybe that's why Nomura scrapped the idea. Maybe he couldn't really make them look genuine.

The fact that Square never tried to do anything more with Kingstagram is a damn shame.
I notice that in that list, Cars is the only world that's tentative.
I wonder if Cars was legit taking the exact same spot as Pridelands, a more gimmick world "if we have time for it"

I imagine the terra roxas team up wouldve probably been during the kairi axel team up. After kairi is kidnapped and lea got his keyblade broken. Before xion came back it was probably terra
The face thats cut for the hud reactions... likely is drowning.
Cause later in the game ya got Pirates of the Caribbean with all the swimming mechanics actually functioning... but there's like no breathing requirements which i did find alittle odd because it adds the question of every other worlds water areas being noticeably non existing. Tangleds Damn being one of them actually... they have to escape a flooding cave before they drown in the movie. Thats nowhere in the game and the Dam area let alone the Tavern of bandits which are the best characters in the entire movie. The Baker one is at least... so with all that cut but being pretty crucial to the plot of that film it could be related.

Why are they concerned about a game that's been out for ages now
Companies in general hate people talking about leaks, probably because they don't want to draw attention to being compromised, or a sense of entitlement to keeping things locked up
@@FrederykStrife If it was about KH4, that's understandable. For a game that's been developed, released and played by thousands, seems a bit overkill.
@@Martyn_Wolf umm because it could still contain sensitive information or things they could be using in later developments, plus that doesn't even matter, it's a direct violation of ToS when people datamine, it's a breach of privacy and security and just morally messed up when it's not your property, how would you feel if someone broke into your computer and your files and got all your info? not very nice now is it? people who datamine are weirdos.
@@TRVPHAUSAs I mentioned if it was about KH4 sure that's understandable. They're rooting through game files of an old game at this point. I don't see them really see them using many assets from KH3, as KH4 is in a different world do they'd make new assets anyway. Unfortunately people won't always follow a ToS.
Since people were probably going the game files through copies of the game they brought on PC it's not exactly a security breach per say. I've never understood why companies don't just take the files off the end product before releasing it (I'm not a programmer etc so my knowledge is limited on this aspect) it'll save them some major issues outside of cyber attacks obviously.
What's with the lame attempt at reverse psychology with those questions... Did you think that would actually work?
@@Martyn_WolfI mean hey, far as I know all of this stuff and what was in the other video are not in the final release of the game, so they did take it out, its not like people just NOW broke into a super encrypted folder or something, its that beta version that someone somehow got ahold of and sent out to a select few people I guess, shouldn't come as a surprise they don't want this kinda stuff out there if they DID scrub it from the pc ports

You can prevent people from showing copyrighted footage, but you cannot stop the discussion of it if you are strategic in not showing potentially revelant footage... which definitely might not be the safest thing in this video but we will see.
