When I was a teen back in the day, my then boyfriend and his roommate had the first Christian radio show in Dallas/Fort Worth (since we were dating, I was part of it too). They paid the station $50/hr. and I answered the phones, got to go to the concerts, etc. For a teenage girl, that was amazing! Petra was one of the first we got to go see, and I was hooked! All these years later, I still am hooked on their music, and will definitely have this played at my funeral (if there is one). God truly gifted Greg and the team with powerful voices, singing powerful messages that all need to hear! We also played Servant, Resurrection Band, Carman, and many others. It was only a couple hours a week, but we had over 100,000 listeners from as far away as Oklahoma City! It was truly the highlight of my teen years, besides marrying the love of my life.

If you do a search for Michael Pearl, please watch his study of Romans. He goes through the KJV verse by verse, word by word, and proves the differences are life changing! This is a very comforting song- even for those who understand the truth of death. I lost my dad, who had a very big stroke nearly two years ago. He passed away on November 16Th, 2019- just before the PLANdemic hit. This song still gives me comfort. Thank you for this video/song. May the remaining people who were part of the Petra band- be truly Blessed.
All of their songs are based on scripture and biblical truth!!! Years ago I had people confront me saying they didn't believe in ROCK MUSIC... My reply was neither do I but I do believe in Jesus Christ!!! So many judgemental people looking at others instead of cleaning their own closet and worried about the speck in somebody's eye when they got a beam sticking out of their own eye!!!! Thanks Petra and other bands like you all. So much great music; the message of Christ most importantly and the many positive memories!!!!
