Sorry to be fact checking here, but correct info is important so (13:55 mark), you might want to redo the math 😀 The figures you quoted are more likely for 22kW charging, 11kW will give you around half of what you quote, which is still sufficient for home charging. Yes, I have 3 phase charger, and yes my car charges at 11kW on AC. ...and you did quote efficiency of 19kWh/100km (10:10 mark), so based on that, you can't get 100km/hr range from anything less than 19kW charging. All in all, a good review, and a pretty good looking car to imo, have seen one up close. 😃
Ford source their parts and electronics pre made from many different companies. Many onboard central processing unit's that can't communicate directly. Hence clunky. This is a big problem, maybe not as big a problem as a ceo being a unelected pseudo president but still a problem.
My Mustang MachE 2021 spent more time in the garage for recalls and fixing stuff going wrong under warranty more than old car of over 30 years of age. Steer clear
My understanding for some weird reason Ford Australia hasn't given owners Blue Cruise 1.3 which is amazing as I watch a channel from the US who own the Mach-e and watch them drive on their freeways/interstates without touching the steering wheel even changes lanes for them. I love the car otherwise just the external door handles are not my favourite. I disagree with kWh/100km and always use Wh/km easy to convert btw, can blame watching Bjorn for that but agree with him on this measure. It almost sounds like this is the first gen Mach-e as I'm sure the new 2025 model has some new features that aren't on this car and a updated app or maybe they don't offer it outside the US/Canada.
I still maintain this looks more like a modern Pinto than a Mustang... and I think that was probably the original design premises till some coward at Ford decided the new Pinto would be kryptonite for the brand.
My 20 year old Subaru is faster than all the electric models what was ford thinking how can they make a slow electric car that’s the whole point of driving electric cars is the fast acceleration

I math'd it out to about 60km/hr real range at 11kw
@@downunderprepparedness That makes at least 2 of us 😅
The floor of the car is huge when you open the doors you can see it’s the battery the bottom half of the door cover it up
To be fair to ford they ran with electric when other OEM's cried stomped and dragged their feet. Some, from a certain country, still are.

Chris, James and Kate cover durability of ev's in the UK. Where, who is doing this down under? It's all new product promotions.

..bonnet release on the left.... Really:(
Wonder if it opens when in drive etc, can see a kid grabbing it..
Brembo brakes and range anxiety. Make up your mind !.
They haven't taken away the STALKS.........yet.
Hopefully never will!

The one to buy is the GT version.
I deleted my comment on accident about the battery 🔋 and how it’s hidden behind the car doors. Also the GT is still so slow for a car
Not LFP.......no thanks.
