@MrStevoovets for sure but a lot of them time it helps with something we are building / fixing. If it wasn't for Dave's videos I wouldn't have thought of a way to make bed mounts for a truck I built.
Can't imagine not growing up 10 mins from the woods. Started on horse back then Toyotas exploring the woods every chance we had! Cool to hear/see your enthusiasm exploring new areas! Reminds me of those days we spent off pavement years ago.

Chipping away at all your projects while also being the go to fab guy for many in the roadkill ecosphere. Pretty impressive juggling skills if you ask me.
The Dodge runs and drives and is fun. It’s fine to drive wherever and park however you want. The Nissan is the show truck. The project has been fun to watch as is, and most of us appreciate it. 😎
I'm constantly dealing with mouse, pack rat, and rabbit damage in my wiring and vac hoses in my 89 YJ. I've pretty much eliminated every vacuum hose that isn't essential and wire loomed everything else. It would have been cheaper in the long run to build a garage for all the damage I've dealt with in my vehicles. So I feel your pain. Thanks Dave!
Use peppermint oil. 100% oil. Buy a spritzer/thumb type pimp sprayer...the small type. We use it under hood around the tires...on them and a bit inside in a small plastic bottle cap. Buy cotton wipes...the round ones for beauty care. Spritz those and put on the floor, one in the glove box and other areas. 3-4 inside. Also a couple in the engine bay. We store vehicles at a farm. Works in the garages and sheds. I have tried the pouches also...pretty good...especially when sprayed with the peppermint. This really does work. Started using it abou 3 years ago while i read the ingredient list in "animal stopper" red gallon jug. We use that in the building around the doors and openings. Using a 2 gal pump sprayer. I re apply the peppermint oil every couple weeks in winter and once a month or so in warm months. The animal stopper about the same interval.
@@Arlatube Thanks! I have used it in the past and seemed to work if I sprayed a couple of times a week. Unfortunately I travel quite a bit and it seems to wear off or evaporate while I'm gone. Plus, the wind blows pretty hard here in the mountains, which can't help. Thanks for the reminder, though, I'll use up a bottle while I'm home!
Deer Park Autobody is a great little shop for getting the work done on your D50. The owner Jim is a good friend of mine. He’s absolutely honest in all his work.

Glad to see you're making some progress. The multiple vehicle thing can definitely save you from getting burnt out! I like that you show the problems that occur just like with the wiring. I don't have a lot of time to get out in the garage but when I do I hit a lot of small snags like that and I do my best not to get frustrated. It's good to see the real car issues that come up instead of the hey, We're going to do this today and 20 minutes later it's done and you know it took 4 hours. Anyway, I hope that makes sense. Thanks!
@@thedirtheadshed I'd rather watch creative work than money spending & bolting parts on.
