9:01 This is where the junction meets. On the right is the track that leads to the South Ferry Terminal, while on the left side is the track leading to the tight loop stop. I only hope the MTA cleaned up all the trash and dangerous metal items and the somewhat graffiti the teenage vandals, who illegally broke into the station, left behind. If nothing, the NYPD Transit Bureau should've arrest them.

They cleaned up the station a lot prior to the tour.

I like the sounds the Lo-V cars made. They weren't subtle like their contemporaries on the BMT the AB Standards. Unfortunately the original air compressors were replaced with more modern ones years ago.

Had I been old enough, I'd have greatly enjoyed the "extra" forward view window! Plus, those traction gear sounds remind me of the Star Trek TOS, when the Enterprise accelerated into warp factor whatever....!!

What became of the Bowling Green station? In the 1950s and 1960s you would have to transfer to a "shuttle" at that station to get to South Ferry.

Closed decades ago. I remember seeing shuttle trains with deck roof Hi-V cars on that line. I think the Bowling Green station was walled off.

@@cats0182 You can see parts of the old shuttle platform at Bowling Green still.

Are the graffiti all painted over? Because the graffiti were sprayed on the wall before And now they're all gone.

Seems like it’s all painted over. The station looks cleaner than the urban exploration videos show.

@@vvs.301 Probably not. The latest urban exploration video here: ruclips.net/video/vlR5my3zu3g/видео.html
...shows that the station is more cleaned up than the others show. Not to mention that there was a tour that happened lately for NYTM members which coincides with this video and the urbex video posted here.

They should reopen the old South Ferry platform, but fence the edge completely so we can just watch trains go around the loop!
