Jewel was my rock in deciding tiny home or staying mobile (I chose to stay mobile) & the greatest drawback for me was inclusion & builders I was in her group & followed the journey quite a bit to see ALL THE CHIT tiny home dwellers have to deal with from a legal prospective with local city county state malarkey & zoning & red lining & 🙄🙄🙄 ugh !
For me it’d be best to buy some land and keep that baby on the trailer. Even then there’s still issues. Then I meet you here on RUclips and got blown away again😊 the two of you “for me” are the Bible of alternative living for women of color and for that I THANK YOU ENORMOUSLY ☀️🌴 love ya 💗

Sorry you experienced this- I’m a single female homeowner and I know how it feels. I’ve been through so many situations that had I been a 6 ft stocky male would’ve never happened. It’s soooooo frustrating.

I hear you! Violence and mischievous behaviors amongst teenagers have increased substantially, according to nationwide data, and it's incredibly upsetting. I ensure my teenager is busy in various activities to keep them out of trouble, to keep them engaged in their education, and to hopefully nurture them and encourage them. I'm so sorry this happened to you. I'm glad your neighbor came out to support you when she heard the ruckus. I'm hoping to one day buy a small lot and have a cute tiny/micro home built on a foundation.

I pray my grandson is too busy being kind to grow up like these tyrants. I’m doing everything I can to guide him. 🙏🏽 thankfully my son turned out to be an AMAZING young man I’m so proud of him.

Girl I was crying laughing picturing you running bare foot after those churren, lol, because that would've been me too! And when you showed the donkey jumping the fence, I lost it! I am in Florida, kids are very disrespectful these days, but I am able to reach some of them. They see me as the cool aunty that don't play at the same time. They pull up their pants when they see me coming, offer to help carry my grocery etc. It took a minute, but one of the keys to reaching them was talking like them once around them and knowing the new school lingo.

Yes, it is so sad and I didn’t see the point in calling the cops and escalating the situation. Hopefully some thing I said will resonate with them boys. But I know for me I don’t want to have to worry about where I live. On a daily basis it’s not healthy. 🥹

❤I feel you, especially being by myself I get this in a big house, I had to call the police 3 times already. It doesn’t matter where you live stupidity is everywhere. I want a tiny house as well but I want to be on my own land. My daughter and I have talked about me living behind her, plus we want a dogs, she wants 1 & I want 2 Doberman and German shepherd. I also know how to train them and trust me know one want to step in my domain with a trained dog. So sad on so many levels. My friends new car was scratched all over while she was shopping at local grocery. I had most of my potted plants stolen from front of my home. We,as women, are not safe and need to be so vigilant. You were smart to talk to these children. Maybe you reached him.. because they do know where you live. And at least it was just a pumpkin and not a gun.

I had kids throw a brick at my picture window some years ago. It sounded like a bomb went off and scared me tremendously. They got away but I did make a police report. I havent had any issues sense. But its very nerve wrecking.

That little boy told you the truth when he said he had nothing better to do. Many of our youth have a lack of community support and activities which is sad.
There is a low ratio of emotionally stable, open and available adults to the number of youth needing guidance. Instead many of them are raising themselves as their parents are physically unavailable due to working long hours to provide basic living and or emotionally challenged and unable to lovingly care for their children.

We had kids throw my pumpkins at my porch in my mobile home park years ago. Fortunately the managers knew who they were and we're evicted shortly after that for multiple vandalization. I live in a pretty nice townhouse apartment complex with one of the buildings and last summer we had some car break-ins. ❤
Yeah see I wish they lived there because they would get evicted but they don’t they live in the apartment complexes near by. And you have to lock up everything

I'm glad that you and your home are ok! These kids & teens have nothing better to do & are doing stupid things for TikTok. We had 2 neighborhood kids come by, though we have cameras everywhere, 1 kicked the garage door while other banged on front door. They may have thought we would be confused, but we looked at camera, jumped in car and caught the stupid teens walking back up the main street. They apologized, and we let it go, but the wrong neighbor won't be so nice.

Property of your own is best, but that too can open up issues of vandalism, especially if you do not have boundary fencing, cameras or dogs. In a park setting, you have others looking out for each other - but increasing rental rates become unaffordable for some and then - where to go with your tiny home? Great video!!! 😀 Now about those Christmas trees up all year....I was that person! 🤣 I loved the lights really, so I ditched the tree and hung the lights on my front patio, and I got lots of comments about how pretty it looks with my table that is colorful and lights up as well! ~Chryss

Same thing happened to me in the small home I use to own. It was on camera and there mother told them to vandalize my home because she didn't like that I had parking in front of my home and she didn't. It did traumatize me and I did talk to them all and resolve everything before they moved. They were renters and because I owned my home I felt trapped for years living there. It's sad and you don't want kids to be in trouble but good grief we all need to do better because private space is hard to come by. Stay safe and sending you good vibes🙏🙏🙏

God blessed your home. You should not have to worry about where you have to live at. Or when you going and coming. Also put up some security cameras. On the RV. SO you know. What is going on. When you is not around. Also. The Blink security cameras for inside is good and they have some amazing one for the outdoors too.
