- Guangzhou is a fascinating city located in the Pearl River Delta in Southern China. Over the years, it has grown into a major trading and business hub. While glitzy skyscrapers dominate the skyline, Guangzhou also has a variety of neighborhoods with a more relaxed and traditional atmosphere.
The city is at the heart of the most populous built up metropolitan area in mainland China. Guangzhou’s history is characterized by trade and revolution, and unlike many other areas in China the region was connected with Western countries for many centuries. The Portuguese and British, for instance, used the city as a trading hub as early as the 16th century.
In this cinematic aerial video I explore this vast metropolis with my drone, visiting some of the most iconic places. From the eye-catching Canton Tower (with a height of 604 meters) to the modern business district, from residential neighborhoods to a traditional temple complex. While Guangzhou’s skyline is impressive during the day, it becomes spectacular during the night when many buildings are lit up with neon lights.
Most footage was shot in early 2019, but there are also a few clips from 2016, taken during my first aerial photography project in China.

** As mentioned, the footage in this video was made in the years before the global pandemic. I am currently not traveling, like most people in the world. **

Guangzho city is super amazing
Konten Bagus👍
Stunning scenery. I wonder if there were any restrictions on what you could video with the drone?
China is (perhaps somewhat surprisingly) relatively relaxed when is comes to flying drones, but there are a set of rules and guidelines in place.
A city very beautiful better than many cities of Us

Thank you for watching!
Looks absolutely magnificent and stunning, especially at night. But I couldn't help but notice all that thick pollution in the air and the river. You could almost 'feel it' through the computer screen. Is is that bad or it was just a cloudy, rainy day when the footage was taken?
By the way do they drive on the right side in China like in the US?
Yes, they drive on the right side in China. Definitely a lot of air pollution in many places that I visited.
I am the first viver
Welcome to China.
How many helicopter flights a day in the city are there?
Great question, quite a few I imagine.
