At first, I was intrigued by TAPP's videos because it was what I wanted to do with my own videos on my channel. And slowly, watching his videos has become more of an issue of me slapping my head and saying, "why do I keep forgetting to do THAT kind of shot?!?" There is nothing like the perspective we get of a city from TAPP... but not just as "aerial footage" -- as art.
Beautifully said! Thanks... I'm glad to hear that I may inspire somebody to do something... Also fly responsibly... If you don't feel comfortable to do take some shots just practice that in the safe place before you'll put yourself in the risky situation... And don't just fly the drone... Editing skills and the time you put on in the post is even more important toward your final results...

It's totally odd that the Mercer building didn't have the dome lit. I've never seen that before. I worked security when they were building that building and use to go up inside the dome to fly paper airplanes off of it. I once landed one on the Belle of Louisville! 😁😁😁

As a Louisville resident, I'm wondering why there were no shots of Churchill Downs?

Great video, been there numerous times, from Covington. Town is a little rough, saw lots of bad places. Guess that comes with bigger cities, especially cities on the river.

@@TAPPChannel Homelessness is still an issue. They move them from one area just to have them migrate to another until it becomes a problem and the cycle repeats. Excellent quality videos by the way.

Bro you went over FAA 400 feet limit several times. There are also airport restrictions where you can only go over 150 feet in certain places. Be careful...
JAleX thanks... Are you familiar with 400-400 rule? Never broke that rule man... The highest I’m going over buildings is 100-150ft which is way lower than my limits... I’m always hugging the buildings when going over 400ft of the ground... Also the airport is 7miles away from where I flew. but thanks for your concerns... let me know if you have a questions...

JAleX ohhh no... the only time I went over 400ft from the ground was that shot over that building in 1:30 and its really close to the building... every other shot is within 400ft from the ground... I’m not crazy😜 Keep in mind that this drone has a wide angle camera... Those objects are smaller on the image than they really are
I am native and currently live in kentucky. Im apart of the OG louisville drone racing group and i use drones nearly daily. Video and racing ones.
With that being said, the faa has declared downtown louisville as a no fly zone. This is illegal. They did this for the protection of the people below. It is also a general rule that we can not fly over urban areas unless we have permission. So unless you got permission from louisville metro and got permits this is illegal.
I wonder the same thing. He does that and similar things in all of his videos.
@@cinematicskyview2702 i do alot of flight sim lately. flying on the river is a horrible idea for other aircraft especially on the ohio. ohio river is the approach path for jets and GA at KSDF
@@DestinyCreatesEntertainment ohio river is actually not on the red zone based on B4UFLY app but some of part the city requires permission for a limited altitude. You can use AirMap for an instant permission from FAA in case you don't know.

I grew up in SW Louisville.. and I pronounce it Lou(e)ville SOMETIMES Lou(ah)ville when I’m feeling lazy lol
More and more Louisvillian’s are also starting to say the city’s name the “out of towner/correct” way.. I mean do you say NashVUL, JacksonVUL, or HopkinsVUL? 🤠🤠
