- The 2024 Louisville Downtown Development Strategy: A New Paradigm for Downtown Louisville sets forth a list of guiding principles and strategic initiatives intended to activate Downtown and create places where people want to be, want to live, and want to invest in.
Throughout the year of 2023, LDP welcomed Louisville residents, business owners and leaders, and stakeholders to participate actively in shaping the future of our city center. Attendees of the public meetings had the opportunity to engage in discussions, ask questions, and contribute to the dialogue surrounding the revitalization and economic development of Downtown Louisville.

I really think Louisville downtown has really improved over the past 15 years.
I love Louisville my father is from Louisville. I’m from Nashville and I feel like we always had a partnership of some sort.
Get the LGB community involved with the Portland, California neighborhoods and other surrounding neighborhoods trust me it worked in Columbus Ohio they turned terrible neighborhoods riddled with crime and now they are highly sought out communities trust me it will work.
I'm 60 lived in Louisville my whole life it wasn't the pandemic that stopped peaple wanting to go down we all no what happened peaple couldn't leave there job an go home cuz thugs stopped them kicking there cars some getting shot at . I live by genesnyder freeway off Preston hwy an 60 yards from my house they put up a 318 unit apts 318 tell me if there is a bigger one put up in last 10 years every since they open crime has went up so much in this area peaple are selling there house a month ago thugs was shooting from the Rd in front of my house to the Apt. About 60 to 70 casings found man at apt grased by bullet in his head. Down town is not safe just look at 4 th street live how businesss has left an look how our mayor took care of the businesss that got looted an vandalized the city told police stand down don't stop them thugs an the city paid owner nothing so why would anyone trust out local government again . The city isnt safean now with the bullshit doj on us it will never be safe again doj stands for put the cuffs on police not the criminals an we as tax payers don't here half of the crime that goes on here even the police scanners are getting blocked so go ahead new mayor Greensburg take care of our criminals an spit in law abiding citizens an let these thugs turn my home town that I'm leaving in to the next Chicago or Baltimore or Memphis cuz that's where we are at not heading there we are there Louisville has hit top ten most dangerous city's but keep lying to peaple u S O B
