Somehow you guys have the gift of presenting an ideal balance of the natural features and scenery, the local attractions and eateries (love those!) and sharing your personal lives - and you’re just so much fun to watch! As I’ve said before - the best RVing channel on YT! ❤️❤️ Jeff Jensen ❤️❤️
Another great video, we missed it last week because we were in Colorado! The elevation sickness is a real thing, we were thankful for our e-bikes on our trip, makes enjoying the area more possible for us low elevation people.
I had a marmot saunter right up to me in Glacier NP and try to grab my shoelaces. They are so cool. 💞 What beautiful countryside. 💖 Can't wait for you to go to Ouray. One of our favorite places when we traveled. We tent camped in the campground and walked to the hot spring pools daily. So many hummingbirds. 💞 Thanks for taking us along. ❤️ -Troy & Aimee
The first time I saw a Marmot, I thought wow that looks like the most gentle badger ever. I felt fortunate that I got to see a badger, then later I found out it was a Marmot and they were common in the high elevation area we were in.
Hi you two! You have found the absolute BEST places to camp, and have truly made me jealous these past few years! Like I told you before, Tim and I were going to move there quite a few years ago, but stayed “put” in southern California. We did visit for about four days in April this year, and all the Colorado feelings came rushing back for both of us. Thank you so much, once-again, for giving me huge smiles, new places to visit, and new family memories to be made. Our “Lucy” is itchin’ to get back on the road again, (and as I!) but are finishing-up the last of what needs to be done, prior to leaving for Greece (& a stop in Turkey!) next month! (ALSO, our 18 yr old grandson returns from Marine boot camp in October, and can’t wait to see, hold and hug my first grandchild again!). “Old(er) age” happens, so continue to travel this wonderful world while able…and I’ll always be here watching and loving every video you upload! Much love to you two, Virginia 💕❤️💕
We just camped in Granby/ Grand lake area! If you are headed northern colorado Red feather lakes is a beautiful place to camp. A lot of free dispersed camping around there. Same with Pingree Park off of the Poudre
Ooo thank you so much! We'll have to add that to our list 🙌 there's SO much to see here, we've already spent 5 weeks and there's still so many places we haven't hit 🤣
Great videos.Wish you the best and safe travel.Waitin with impatiance your new videos.Just curious, what is your job, i know something on internet but really interested what.
Greetings, newbie here, in our new-to-us N/V 21J, been watching and loving your channel so much, you guys inspired us in so many ways, and we're planning to travel to colorado this winter but don't have any experience traveling in the RV during winter time/snowing and don't know much where is the best place to stay in colorado during winter time like good campground or KOA, we're family of 5- any tips and recommendation, please. TIA
Hi. Beautiful footage in your videos with tons of information, I’m impressed. I long to travel like this in my class C. Quick question, just in general, don’t need any details,( nothing exorbitant, nor anything shoestring nomad) what does it cost annually to achieve this lifestyle choice? Thank you.
Hi guys - I just found your channel and love your adventures especially in CO. I have a sweet pup that could be Scout's twin literally and she has the same issue with running away - I was wondering where you took Scout for training in VA I think you said? I am in NC so would be very very interested in checking out their program as I am wanting to take my pup traveling with me the same way Scout goes with you. Thanks!!!
Hi there! Oh how fun! Do you know what kind of pup yours is? We get asked all the time about Scout but we don't know! And yes! The trainer is just outside Charlottesville, VA and was the best investment we ever made!! It has been life changing for us and Scout. Sadie's K9 Rules is the name if you Google, you'll find the website. Jess is the owner, you can tell her we sent you if you inquire! Shoot us an email if you have any questions about the process at all! Hello@newstatenomads.com 🙂
@@NewstateNomads Thank you so much for the info - I will absolutely check out their website and tell them you sent me. IDK what breed of dog Bailey is as she came from the Asheville Humane Soc - but she looks exactly like Scout other than her spots are more reddish brown. She definitely has some hound in her and runs just like Scout does off leash - thus the disappearing act lol - she is gone before you even have time to react. Talk about stressful! Anyway I am excited to start following your channel now that I have found you! Best regards, Carol
Brian, I worked at the Haunted Mansion and Riverboat, but definitely a big fan of Jungle Cruise. I worked there 20+ years ago, but even today many of the skippers during my time have graciously welcomed me as an honorary skipper (with all our travel, lol). -Howard

Your critter on the rock was a yellow bellied marmot. Colorado is so beautiful, so sad to see the results of the bad fires. Entertaining as usual.
Colorado is such a beautiful state ❤❤
Fun episode! You can tell that you guys were in tv, the shows becoming more polished. Howard is hip and Katelyn is a knockout, it works

Awesome and inspiring as always... Can't wait to get back on the road and explore ....
Perfect, I’ll be in CO in a few days. Excited to attend the Winnebago BNR in a few weeks.
Agree with the others, that was a Marmot! Glad you've had a good Colorado stay!
looked like a yellow-bellied marmot on the rock. Great video, you always find really great places to camp.
Yay!! You spent your birthday in my hometown! Did you eat at Hen of the Wood? That place is amazing!
The animal was probably a Marmot. Good video with nice scenery.
Ahhh yes!!! We didn't even think of that! Thanks so much, Mark! 🙂
How exciting!!! What a beautiful spot.
Thanks Dave!! Colorado is full of beauty, wait til you see some of the places coming up! 😍
@@NewstateNomads looking forward to it😊
Good things to do in is the Silverton, narrow gauge railroad that runs to Durango what you have to write it from Durango to Silverton and then back
Ahhhhhh we loved watching this part of the adventure from your perspective!! 🤣 SO much fun! We miss it already!! 😭❤️❤️❤️
I have an exact E bike and mine quit one day and I had to redo some of the settings and it is fine now
A beer or two (at The Bakers' Brewery) await you two next time get into Summit County CO.

How well did your RV handle towing that SUV up the long grade on I-70 out of Denver?
Are you coming by Ouray on this tour?

Please tell me you were a Jungle Cruise Skipper or are at least a huge Jungle Cruise fan.

The beaver looking thing is/was a marmot
Yes! Your the second person to confirm that! We didn't even think of a marmot. 🤣 Looks exactly like that!
I must have missed what happened to piper and Ella? I only see scout?
😂 at 8:54, there was smellivation gain
Those beavers are called Marmots!
Be watchful. There are brown and black bears now in So. CO.
That creature was a marmot, and was sprawled like that so it could heat dump to cool down.
It was a marmot. 😁
Girl you handled that like a champ! 💪 Jerk chicken tacos looked SO YUMMY!!! 🤤
Oh my goodness, thank you!! 💪 It was definitely empowering! And those tacos were amazing. 🤤 Jerk chicken is sooo good!
That’s a marmot 😂😂😂
First 😂
Congrats? 🤔😂
@@NewstateNomads thanks? 😂🤷🏼♂️
Octopus wrap yum, NOT!!!!
I don't understand how people change their black tank hose without wearing gloves. It's poop people. GROSS!!
