HA! loved your info on colorado, made a comment, and then your trip to moab. you have a new sub. excellent video. i enjoyed that. thank you, gonna watch the frozen video next.
I have been watching your channel for awhile and really enjoy your style of vlog. Keep up the good work. Safe travels. love the mix of comedy and drama that you always have in your videos. lol
About 10 years ago when digital photo albums were becoming more and more popular, I made three USA holiday albums ( page size 30cmx30) for a couple who spent there annual holidays discovering America. During this video I was propelled back in time and now experienced the canyons in a more intense way. It ws like I had been there. Same arches, same canyon shots. Amazing. I spread one photo over the two pages- and wow, it looked amazing. Now I've seen this video, I am once again over awed at the intense and immense beauty of this part of our planet. ( ps a food message: I have a Mexican corn soup recipe on my channel you my like Howard 😌). Thanks again for making my Monday morning such a pleasant experience. 🙏 👍 🎥 ❤️ 🌷 🙋♀️
Happy Monday Oma!! Oh how cool, so glad we were able to help you recreate those images with our video! We'll have even more from Arches next week. It really is incredibly beautiful! Howard is excited about that recipe, we'll check it out. Definitely sounds perfect for these chilly evenings we've been having! 🤗❤ Katelynn
First time watcher here! Thanks for sharing your travels! We are in Rochester, NY, and have not camped in the snow yet! I'll tune in next week. Rigney Family
Craig and family, so glad you found us! I feel like there's camping in the snow and camping in VERY cold weather. We prefer the former. 😂 Thanks for watching, and so glad you're along for the journey!
Loved this video!! The arches were so beautiful,it’s hard to find the words to describe them,I kept going back in the video,to look at them. The weather looks unbelievable there, but you got snow...yah!! We have snow here,so I was happy for you,haha.-9 here tonight, just a little cool, compared to what’s coming. Keep warm, and stay safe!!
Gorgeous place. Loved your video as always! We are fans of the dark sky designated areas as well. We got to experience that in Grand Canyon this summer. Breathtaking.
Had a little chill sympathy for you there, but what I would give to be snowed in for a night or two in our trailer! Can't wait to get to this area - nice job sharing what you saw and expierenced!
It was definitely an experience! I was so excited to see some snow, but the single degree temps I could have done without hahaha. It's such a beautiful area though, we're so glad we finally got to see it! -Katelyn
Love this video on Moab very good information. Looked like nice weather then it turned cold and snowy. The Rick form looked beautiful. Did scout have fun when you were trying to hike? It was cute. Can’t wait until next week.
VERY cold, Lynn! 😆🥶 That was the coldest we have ever been in the RV. The forecast wasn't exactly accurate about how cold it was going to get 🤭 we won't be doing that again anytime soon! But yes, definitely beautiful!!! Wait til next week 😉 -Katelyn
Wonderful, fun video and music. Hope to get back to the Southwest next year. My View is presently in storage here in Maine and coincidentally I tow a Subaru Outback. Hope to see you on the road.
Wow that temp dropped quick. Brrrr 🥶. I’ll assume a water line froze but I’ll tune in next week to see how the hair dryer saved the day. Apparently it’s not a 4 season camper. ☹️ stay warm 👍🏼
Yep, dropped over 60 degrees in one day! I would still very much call it a 4 season (freshwater tank & piping are inside, tank heaters on grey and black tanks, recirculating hot water system) BUT there is a weakness when it get VERY cold and stays in the single digits. You'll probably laugh when you see the resolution, and it's not the hairdryer. That's the only clue I'm giving out! 🤔😂 -Howard
It actually stayed pretty warm inside! Eric, I'm sure this won't be a surprise to you, but even with all the piping and fresh water tank inside, there is a vulnerable spot in VERY cold weather with the 24D. 😂 Don't spoil the surprise for everyone else! 🤫
Great video.😊 Loved the park and oh yeah, those are definitely 2 ships.....(cough, cough, lol) Two ships passing in the night....❤ I was wondering about your tanks when I heard the word...cold. When I saw the ice on the windows, I said out loud, "Oh, boy, I hope their tanks are heated." Did ya'll end up waiting in line at Milts for your cheeseburgers? LQQKS, like a great place. How do you keep from slipping on your RV steps and bustin your keesters? Enquiring minds need to know these things.....❤😊❤ Thank you for a delightful video. I'm starving a cold and feeding a fever right now, so 15 minutes watching you guys was a reprieve from my misery.....lol.🤣🤣😂😂😊😊❤❤❤
Oh yes, the food at milt's was SO good, I definitely got my cheeseburger. We ended up running into some other full-time RVers there and ate so quickly we didn't get any shots of our food 🤭😆 we go VERY slowly on the steps but there have been a few close calls for sure lol so glad you enjoyed this week's video! The drama and beauty continue next week 😁♥️ -Katelyn
@@NewstateNomads , Thank you Katelyn. I was tested for Covid, I was so thrilled it was negative. Just a double ear and sinus infection. Ten days of Augmentin 875mg 1 two times a day will do the trick. Plus taking my Florajen Probiotic. Ya gotta put the good stuff back in that the antibiotic kills. I take my probiotic at lunch. The antibiotic will kill it too if taken close together. Stay well!! ❤❤
@@NewstateNomads we had to get up in the middle of the night and get the dogs out of our vehicle and put them in the sleeping bags. We weren't sure they could survive the night in the vehicle. We have a tipi with a wood stove. We don't use the stove during the night but we light it before going to bed and then light it again in the morning. We didn't really leave the tipi until about 10 AM though. The stove keeps it toasty inside though.
Did you guys make it to looking glass? Also my sister lives 25 minutes south of Moab near Wilson Arch. If you want to meet someone cool for coffee let me know I put you guys in touch with her. I was just there three weeks ago and did that whole area. Took over 1000 pics. lol......also when in Moab go grab the best coffee ever at Moab Garage Company. Their pastries and breakfasts are amazing as well and so is the staff. If you go say hi to Parker from Marco from Canada:)). great place enjoy your travels!!!
Hey Marco! We didn't make it there on this trip, but we'd love to visit again (maybe when it's a little warmer). Thanks for the tip of the coffee shop, definitely will add that to our list. We drove by and I remember seeing it but we didn't actually stop. Next time we're in town it'd be so cool to meet your sister! What a beautiful place for her to live! -Katelyn
What's wild is that it was in the 70s the day before! 😆That was definitely better exploring weather. Hope you can visit one day, it's breathtaking! Thanks for watching 😊 -Katelyn
