Ah yes, campfires. Nothing so lovely and enjoyable as a night around a campfire. Hopefully the drone was repairable. How wonderful you choose such great charities to say 'thank you to' . It's a tribute to you for being so caring. Once again, my Monday morning has been a treat. The views of those amazingly beautiful pieces of nature still present in our world gives a person hope. Thank you. Keep safe, keep smiling and be happy. 🙏 👍 🎥 🙋♀️ ❤️ps. Your lifestyle is absolutely tops! I have so much admiration for you both. Life's motto: Follow your Bliss👍
Another wonderful video. I for one, love campfires. We live in the country, and during the summertime, night fires are a must, and who doesn’t love marshmallows to go with it.lol. Scout did a great job walking on that wooden bridge. You got a good workout going up those stairs with Scout,I would of been tired at the end of that though.haha..I also feel bad about Howard’s drone. Poor guy, trees are always in the way..lol. Cant wait to see the potato museum!! Thank you again for the great video, and keep an eye on your bananas!! Keep safe, see you soon.
Mmm marshmallows are always a good idea!!! Scout is always so brave, she continues to amaze us! I was a little tired after carrying her up 😂 lol yes, those darn trees! Can't wait to share next week's video! Thanks as always for watching, it means so much to us! ♥️ -Katelyn
We got so lucky with such beautiful sites, the scenery here is next level! We're just so glad we were able to retrieve the drone, it happens 😂 yes, next week's will be a fun one! Thanks for watching Dolly! -Katelyn
Loved the Montana videos I was there many years ago on a fly fishing trip have wanted to go back. Now I am feeling very motivated to go back and explore in Depth.
Hi Bonnie!! So glad you enjoyed traveling with us through Montana! Really hope you can go back, it really is incredible there! I bet the fishing was awesome! Thanks for watching 😊 -Katelyn
Sorry about your drone! I loved where you you were though by the white water real nice. Hope you had fun. The pizza looked good. Can’t wait until next video. Have a great week. Stay safe and see you next week.
That sounds amazing, Timaz! We will definitely be returning to both, what were some of your favorite places during your visit? Thanks for watching! 👍 -Howard
When we had our Holiday Rambler Presidential and diesel dullie, we stayed at a lot of state and national campgrounds. We had a big rig and truck. So sometimes we paid for two camping spots. One, we would put up our screen room, a safe distance back, we had our chairs around the fire pit. It was great having our 5th wheel and diesel truck a nice safe distance from the campfires. We always had a fire, even in the summer. I know crazy huh? It's just not camping for me if there's no camp fire. To be honest I was really nervous when I saw you taking the banana peel out of Scouts mouth. I was saying out loud, "Scout, don't you bite Mom again." Thankfully she didn't. Dogs love bananas. My vet said just a few bites was okay to give our Chihuahua. Loved the bridges. Bridges fascinate me. Thank you for a lovely evening watching your video. Can't wait to see Idaho. ❤
That's a great idea to rent to spots for the extra space! I like campfires year round too 😊 Scout never nips at us with food, she's such a good girl! Except for ya know, stealing the bananas 😂🍌 she definitely had more than a few bites that night but she was fine. Can't wait to share Idaho! ♥️ -Katelyn
Yes! Campfires are great any time of day. I like it when it's still light out 😊 we feel you on the burn ban... So much of where we were recently understandably had bans. ♥️
@@NewstateNomads we split time between Williams, Az which you probably drove thru on your way to Grand Canyon and Kino. We have a home on the beach in Kino. Summer is pretty hot in Kino so we head to Williams in June. Love to host you and show you a great hang out. Even in you are in area of Williams, we'd love to show you around an old Historic Route 66 town. Safe travels.
Love a good campfire just always hated buying wood LoL. If I buy it, it’s dry. If I collect it, it’s always wet 😂. Montana looks beautiful and the water looks cold and clean. Nice camping spots. Boondocking is the best. Great video 👍🏼
Lol, feel ya on the wood! We've definitely had our share of the wet wood "smoldering" fires. It's tough to buy wood, but kind of insurance that you'll get the dry stuff. During this episode, Forestry had left tons of presplit firewood, so we had a great, FREE fire to go with FREE camping. That's a double bonus! 😂 Howard
Yes! We had a morning fire last summer in Alaska and it was great. We should do more of those. And absolutely!! We spent most of the summer/beginning of Fall in areas struggling with fires and burn bans. Always a must to check! Thanks so much for always supporting our channel and watching Lisa! 😊♥️ -Katelyn
Thank you! We found a repair shop (in Miami, FL which is pretty ironic considering that's where we started from in August 2018), and pleased to say the drone will be good as new! Thanks as always for watching and glad you're along for the journey. 👍 -Howard
Campfires - yes! But I’ve only been a recreational camper, not a full-timer. I think crashing / losing a drone happens to every RUclipsr eventually. Really beautiful sites! At 60 lb I don’t think I could carry Olive on those steps and she would hate that bridge. ✌🏻
There's just something to enjoyable about a fire! We're sitting at one now 😊🔥 haha! I think you're right....almost like a RUclipsr right of passage so to speak 😂just so glad Howard was able to find it since we had footage on the card. Oh gosh, yes 60 lbs is a little too heavy. I definitely felt it carrying Scout back up. That's probably the last swinging bridge we'll take her on. Haha ♥️ -Katelyn
We like our propane fire pit - easier on contact lens wearing eyes. The Thai pizza sounded amazing! Un oh on the dog eating off the counter. Our Lab threw up a plastic squeeze pack of peanut butter at 5 am this morning... must have found it in the parking lot last night - ugh. And I don’t think I want to carry our 75 lb brat dog on that bridge and stairs 😂
That's true about the contacts, from one lens wearer to another, I feel this! Haha. Ohhh nooo... that's a wonderful surprise to wake up to! Poor baby! Yeahhh 75 lbs is a bit too heavy for that 😂 -Katelyn
Definitely Pro-Campfire! The last few places we landed didn't have fire rings so we are in the market for a good but small and portable fire pit. If anyone knows of a good one that we could easily carry in our 30ft Class C, please give a shout.
Yeah, paying for wood is a bummer but at least it's generally dry. We probably buy wood about 60% of the time, since the woods have been pretty wet recently for us. Wet wood is the worst for fires...

Montana is beautiful! Scout had a hankering for bananas! 😆
Sandra, that dog LOVES bananas! Spoiler alert, it isn't the last time... 😂 -Howard
LOL your angel is the banana bandit! Warms my heart to see her so happy with you! Kaitlin is a good Mommy to carry her up & down all those steps! ❤️

Will do, thanks Ronnie! 👍
We love campfires! We bought the Solo Stove Ranger and love it! It’s smokeless and so worth it!
WOW. That thing looks awesome, Michelle! You know how much we love campfires, but this is another level!! -Howard
@@NewstateNomads I highly recommend it! And it’s almost $100 off right now for the holidays! :)
You guys found some gorgeous camping sites. Sorry about that drone.....Looking forward to next week's video. Have a great week!

Oh no! Drone crash! We love ours and would be really sad as well. Our drone sends your drone some love!
Thanks, Shannon! Our drone thanks your drone, and will be pleased to hear we found someone to repair it. 👍😂 -Howard
Love campfires!!!
Yesss! 🔥 They're just so cozy and fun!
We love campfires unfortunately some of the places we stay don’t allow them.

Charcoal fires! Wow, we haven't had one of those in a LONG time...
Campfire 🔥 for me not so much I have asthma you guys are too stinking cute couple 🥂love all your babies🐾
Aww thank you Lynn!!! ♥️♥️♥️
Yes to campfires. Love morning and evening campfires. 🔥🔥🔥. Lately we've been missing them with all the fire bans everywhere we've been lately.
Yes! Campfires are great any time of day. I like it when it's still light out 😊 we feel you on the burn ban... So much of where we were recently understandably had bans. ♥️
We really enjoyed the video, thanks for sharing! I hope we get to visit here one day. Take care! Too bad about the drone though .. :(
Thanks so much for watching, so glad you enjoyed it! 😊 Montana is so beautiful. Thankfully we were able to fully repair the drone! 🎉 -Katelyn
I live in MT. And our fav thing is to go to a camp ground for the day and have a camp fire. I’m glad you like MT!
👍🏻👍🏻 for campfires.... I'm going to have to plan at least a 3wk tour of Montana....beautiful 😍
Hi Lola! Yesss, Montana does not disappoint. So incredibly beautiful. Thanks for watching our video! 😊 -Katelyn
Yes to loving campfires!
Yes yes, Amy! 🔥
Love campfires. When you get back to Mexico, came visit us in KINO BAY (Bahia de Kino) which is 50 miles west of Hermosillo on Gulf of California.
We're with you on that, Daniel! We'd love that! Hoping to be back soon, it would be awesome to visit that area. Do you live there full-time? -Katelyn

Love a good campfire on a spring or fall night..

U guys are so adventurous & take great pics! So why on the last hike did u only take scout?
Love campfires and everything associated with campfires. Hot dogs, hamburgers, chicken, brats, s'mores etc...

FYI, bull trout are the ones with the horns. As such, they are udderly unmistakable from the cow trout. ;-)
😂😂😂 thanks for clearing that up for us, Bob! I knew someone in the community would have an answer. 👍 -Howard
great video . You did a great job Nicely done. You just got a big like from me and a new subscriber here.
Awesome thank you and glad you are enjoying our adventures! -Howard
What type of drone do you have ?? Or what are you replacing it with? Love camp fires. Just purchased a Solo pit for the home. Great investment
Omggg that pizza 🤤
We. Love. Pizza. It's pretty high on our list of things to find wherever we stop! 😂
Yes to campfires along with marshmallows.
Exactly, Sue! Though we rarely get the chance to do marshmallow or smores. Great idea! -Howard

The propane fire pit is definitely a great way to go! Let us know if you find one a good one too. 🙂
Every time we camp at least one campfire per stop.
I like the way you camp, Calvin! 👍
What happened to your Honda CRV?
We still have it! Going strong! 💪😊
Love campfires, don't like the way clothes smell the next day.
That's funny, Rick. I actually like the smokey smell from it, definitely recognize I'm in the minority on that. 😂 -Howard
Yes campfire.
Agreed David!! 😊
I no longer can handle the smell of a campfire because of my asthma.
Hi Gene, so sorry to hear. Definitely understand that! ♥️ Thank you for watching our video! -Katelyn
Asthma, smell and risk of a forest fire I am not a far. However, I would love to get a propane fire pit if I had the room.
Propane fire pits are certainly a wonderful and safe alternative!
My wife will not camp unless we can have a fire.
💯 agreement over here! We're building fires sometimes before the RV is even setup. 👍😄
It’s not camping with out a fire
We agree Karen! 🔥♥️
Fire or no fire don’t really care either way, just don’t want to buy my firewood.
Yeah, paying for wood is a bummer but at least it's generally dry. We probably buy wood about 60% of the time, since the woods have been pretty wet recently for us. Wet wood is the worst for fires...
I am not a fan of camp fires. Only to burn my mail.
😂 Bob, mail makes some great kindling!
