I remember having my 8th Birthday at a Charles Entertainment Cheese location. The robots were really interesting to me, and I like them. It's sad to see them go away. Every time I see an animal animatronic, I have this deep instinctual desire to take any object around me and just beat the everliving shit out of it. Something about them is just utterly unholy.
What kind of animal does this much research on Chuck E. Cheese.... Only to reveal the existence of animals that don't need to research Chuck E. Cheese because apparently they're passionate about the lore or something. Anyway, Dop(e) video Lex
One thing that has happened recently Chuck E. Cheese wise, is the company has apparently released a few flavor frozen pizza products in your local freezer aisle at any known grocery store. I’m actually surprised, the pizza isn’t half bad. My brother can vouch for me on this, as he’s a frozen pizza aficionado.
They got rid of all the games that had ANY violence(tame stuff like the simpsons arcade game) in the early 2000s and focused on only shitty ticket games. That's what killed them
@@crowMilatonin prolly something the franchise owner brought in. I've got 7 bros and sisters so tons of nephews and nieces and haven't seen anything but DDR or that sega firefighting game since like 03, and that's chuck e cheeses in 3 different states
i do remember that yeah. however, my local chuck e cheese swapped them out with fairly decent stuff. i remember playing hydro thunder which was loads of fun
9:23, not entirely true. They rebranded all restaurants to Chuck E. Cheese because they didn’t own the rights to the showbiz characters, and would have been an extra expense. With the merger, the company acquired the names to the Chuck E Cheese characters. The new merged business also wanted to pump out shows in volume rather than take time perfecting it, creative engineering (Rock Afire creator) had the complete opposing view wanting quality over quantity, the relationship soured and Creative Engineering was essentially axed from the company
9:32 although that is probably true the main reason was actually because they didn't own the rights to The Rockafire explosion but did own the rights to the chuck e cheese. In actuality corporate preferred the rockafire characters due to them being more complex and would have likely kept them if they didn't want to save on liscencing costs or they were able to buy them from there creator.
Man, I always thought it would be gnarly to have a cocaine fueled, neon laced psilocybin psychedelic adventure through a 90's era Chuck E. Cheese. I was born in 1992, so my childhood Chuck E. Cheese runs unfortunately did not include this.
"Visit his disgusting rat family" Oh yeah..about that... here's the thing everyone forgets about Chuck-E-Cheese. An official comic by Chuck-E-Cheese during the early 80s showed a cannon origin for Chuck and revealed that he was actually an orphan who was depending on the comic given a home by the Italian dude to help out in his Pizzeria or made enough money to open a pizzeria in order to celebrate other kids birthdays because he never experienced a birthday. It's pretty sad for a backstory and this is coming a guy in Texas whose only experience of Chuck-E-Cheese was the short lived Pizza Buffet before it got a reboot.
the modern redesign being in 2012 is crazy to me, because i dont think a single establishment i went to after that time EVER had the new chuck e. cheese design. last time i went was a year ago, and the logo and the decor was still the design from the late 2000's, the animatronics looked to be of the old designs and there was even a statue of chuck e. cheese with his outfit from i think the 70's or 80's. its been 11 years and still nobody wants to use the tiny little rat XD
oh wow, that is sad. there is one across the street from my apartment and needless to say, the parking lot is always empty. i know there's a pandemic going on, but damn it makes me sad everytime i see it cuz there's a chance that's just how it is always lol

coming right up! lol
12:30 You re sleepin on the SFA 3 MAX for PSP. Love that game, it has a huge roster, and its SFA 3! And that MK:A for Wii has the unique Khameleon, a female Ninja changey thing. I like MK:A just the dial a fatality sucks
dude when i was in HS, that was my go to PSP game lol. and i LOVE MK: A on the wii, even though people say it was the worst one. i think i just liked the novelty of it.
@@doplextv The size of the MK:A roster was mind blowing at the time. I still appreciate it.
When I was growing up, my parents told me you could only go to Chuck E Cheese if it was your birthday. Nah, turns out you can just show up whenever and play ski-ball or whatever. I’ve felt lied to ever since I learned that.
Beautiful upload as always. Always feel right at home watching a Doplex video. Keep up the great work my guy
I remember having my 8th Birthday at a Charles Entertainment Cheese location. The robots were really interesting to me, and I like them. It's sad to see them go away. Hell, even after playing the FNAF games, they make me wanna visit a location even more honestly, I miss the vibe that these cheap-ass pizza chains had.
Grade A video thanks for the entertaining content .
thanks so much!!
i was just wondering the other day if you had given up on making videos, i hadnt seen one in a while. I thought, man if Doplex cant make youtube work then what am i doing?haha... I love learning how to edit (i just started doing my twitch streams) so i would prob keep at it anway, but its good to know your still on the grind baby!!! love your content. your one of my favorites on here, cant wait for your channel to blow up!
haha nah i haven’t given up (at least not yet) 😳
that’s awesome! keep at it and you’ll get there. i appreciate your kind words my friend 🙏🏼
Every time I see an animal animatronic, I have this deep instinctual desire to take any object around me and just beat the everliving shit out of it. Something about them is just utterly unholy.
oh same! you ever been to rainforest cafe? i get vietnam flashbacks while trying to enjoy my cold pasta
Great video man! This series is really good
thanks so much! i hope to do more of these haha
Bonus points for the boneworks OST, love this entire masterpiece!
What kind of animal does this much research on Chuck E. Cheese....
Only to reveal the existence of animals that don't need to research Chuck E. Cheese because apparently they're passionate about the lore or something.
Anyway, Dop(e) video Lex
haha an animal like me! yeah it’s pretty wild but that’s what they call a *twist* in show biz..pizza.
thank you king daniel 🙏🏼
Ahhhhhhhh, I see you with that Sonic mania soundtrack at the beginning! Great song.
ayyy it’s the perfect opening! i swear i unironically listen to sonic OSTs because they’re so good lol
@@doplextv Especially Lights Camera Action, hands down the best song in that OST.
@@doplextv you should see the MJ remixes, those are great!
Oh god...the memories of my father in that demonic rat suit just came flooding back. Kill me 🤣
One thing that has happened recently Chuck E. Cheese wise, is the company has apparently released a few flavor frozen pizza products in your local freezer aisle at any known grocery store. I’m actually surprised, the pizza isn’t half bad. My brother can vouch for me on this, as he’s a frozen pizza aficionado.
I love this. Thanks for posting another piece of actual art.
wow thank you for the kind comment! idk if i’d call this art, but as they say art is subjective lol
Yo...that Jurassic Park arcade they got is BANGER!!! Fuck winning prizes. I wasted ALL my tokens on that shit.
hahah bro totally! as i got older i stopped worrying about prizes and more about the solid choices they had
Hey man, cool video!
ayyeee thank ya
They got rid of all the games that had ANY violence(tame stuff like the simpsons arcade game) in the early 2000s and focused on only shitty ticket games. That's what killed them
Welll, I played a game in there once where you shoot dinosaurs, and the main character swore, so I wouldn’t say they got rid of it completely.
The RUclips videos of kids who were (in theory) dancing alone but wearing Christmas themed masks is killing me lmao
Right now this is Dope(lex)
and right now this is Cord(wit)
that doesn’t work :( but thank you king!
Black plague bandit sounds like a good username.
hahah or a good band name
Man, I always thought it would be gnarly to have a cocaine fueled, neon laced psilocybin psychedelic adventure through a 90's era Chuck E. Cheese. I was born in 1992, so my childhood Chuck E. Cheese runs unfortunately did not include this.
Amazing video! ☺
what's the outro music, I really want to know
it’s The Way U Move off of Killer Cuts (Killer Instinct OST) ! a banger for the ages
@@doplextv thanks man, and keep putting out great stuff!
Oh dang a Doplex video! In today's climate?? SICK!
despite the economy, i uploaded!! oh no i think i just caused a stock market crash
What did you use to make the intro it was good
glad you liked it! my girlfriend who is a 3D artist actually made it haha
He thought we wouldn’t notice he used the boneworks soundtrack in the intro, I’m onto you
"Visit his disgusting rat family" Oh yeah..about that... here's the thing everyone forgets about Chuck-E-Cheese.
Fuck E. Feces, bruh I’m dead. Again, this series is amazing
hahah glad you liked that. thank you queen doe!
Can you make a video on the history of Showbiz Pizza and Creative Engineering Inc. ? There is a lot of info on RUclips, Wikipedia and Showbizpizza.com
The Sonic music really fits
...and they say fnaf isn't real.
they made fnaf into a real thing!!
I hated watching American TV from my small town and seeing chuck e cheese commercials. How can y'all have that down there and be as angry as you are.
hahah that’s what i’m saying! although chuck e. cheese is generally an angry place these days for god knows why
I never been at a Chuck E. Cheese before because I don't live in America.
Man, all the things that I missed out on.
haha could always try the VR experience! even though it won’t be the same
the modern redesign being in 2012 is crazy to me, because i dont think a single establishment i went to after that time EVER had the new chuck e. cheese design. last time i went was a year ago, and the logo and the decor was still the design from the late 2000's, the animatronics looked to be of the old designs and there was even a statue of chuck e. cheese with his outfit from i think the 70's or 80's. its been 11 years and still nobody wants to use the tiny little rat XD
holy sh*t that 3d animation was dope
thanks! the girlfriend whipped that up and did a stellar job!
Chuck e cheese's fourth recognizable rodent of human fiction culture
The rise and fall of a powerful rat
some say he was even.. a god 😳
The Chuck E. Cheese I went to had the old Chuck costume until just a few years ago.
that's so awesome. i wonder if they're one of the locations that refused to make the switch haha
@@doplextv they must've been. I remember the old animatronic band onstage as well
Tiny Chuck is the least horrible design, change my mind
he is the size of a RAT. not a big cute oaf like before. A RAT
@@doplextv he had never been "cute" previous to that design😂
We still go once a year for my younger siblings and it really is a shell of its former self, its kinda sad
oh wow, that is sad. there is one across the street from my apartment and needless to say, the parking lot is always empty. i know there's a pandemic going on, but damn it makes me sad everytime i see it cuz there's a chance that's just how it is always lol
We need more from this series! See if there’s anything on Taco Bell, KFC, Jollibee
got two new ones in the works as we speak!
Ooooooo :)))))))
AY! It's Doplex Time!
ayyy unfortunately!
The big C? Yeah not touching that
they knew what they were doing
Watching the Doplex episode a week later, i must be early
