I had very dark hair that turned white early. At 55 I stopped coloring and after stripping color, voila, I have platinum. My stylist said, “ Do you know how much people pay for that?” Old age can be a blessing🤫
Putting Coconutoil into your hair before bleaching it, is like putting on a bathrobe before using a bodylotion and then wondering why your skin is dry as hell😅

Hair Buddha, I have to say....
Ive been bleaching my hair and then roots every 4-8 weeks for literally 20+ years. Back in the early to mid 2000s I realize now that bleach was chemically made differently. I didnt have to bleach my roots 3-4 times. Seriously, JUST ONCE. Without toner and I was platinum! I noticed around 2018 or so when my roots began doin the yellow and orange color after bleaching. I ruined my hair a few times since 2018. Iwent a whole year not dying after I totally burnt my beautiful long locks OFF. Went to Sallys last week and stumbled across x10 ion charcoal bleach....although it can ruin hair faster, i took the risk and didnt need to bleach my hair twice. I had platinum with very little discoloring of yellow so used T10 toner for UNDER 5 MINUTES with 10 DEVELOPER and washed out in COLD WATER AND CONDITIONER ONLY....now i have a legit platinum white blonde like i did 2018 and before.
For anyone curious about charcoal bleach...at least by ion, it doesnt Smell like strong chemicals and even the powder doesnt jump into your nose when dumping or mixing. It feels more like dye in my opinon although MUCH stronger than typical sally bleach. Sometimes you need 2x the bleach if not left in long enough or near black hair or black from what i read. It also is a grey color when put on.

Yes, Charcoal bleach is the NEW best thing now. Blond.me has also now new additive's. Bleach products are going fast now. Thats why I hate Quick Blue, thsi is an old bleach product.

If you are at rock bottom, the only way is up🥰
The coconut oil is a good conditioning treatment but not when coloring or bleaching your hair or after getting color or highlights. Best bet is to leave in coconut oil as a conditioning treatment 1-2 weeks prior to getting hair done so it's all washed out and your hair can take the dye or bleach.

Man these people are so over confident. I have level 2 hair, had it bleached with 20 volume at the salon three times and I'm still not platinum but at least my hair is in good condition! Love your videos ❤ you're reactions are priceless
She would look fantastic with light brown or 🌰 chestnut brown hair. The blonde made her look washed out. I like natural blonde hair but brown hair is just as beautiful. I wish more women to embrace their brown or even darker hair colour.

I love this channel. Sure, if the toner does not work, you can count on purple shampoo to get rid of all your hair problems. I used to self bleach my hair and it would take days but I learned how to do it from my mom's friend who is a hairstylist. I now just do root touch ups with my hairstylist and worth the money every few weeks.

For some time now I have been planning to wear my hair dark brown again, as it was for many years. I am naturally dark blonde. I hope I can manage it. Dear companies, please put caution on box dye and bleach "Don't use with coconut oil. Coconut oil blocks bleach/hair dye work".
I was dyeing my hair today. I had to add box dye bleach but I didn't used bleach powder. Result is level 6 (wanted 7 but needs 2 washes). Bleach powder scares me 😂😂😂😂
I did fine sections (lots of hair, hair above shoulders) and it took me 35 minutes with mixing hair dye and doing sections. So it is possible to do things quickly and cover it perfect.

I go to my stylist and colorist for any lightening, toning and cutting of my hair. I would rather have someone I trust than screw it up myself. I have toned my hair - it is naturally silver-white now at 62 - and I use a 10 developer when I do it. I also buy my toner from the hair store and not the drug store as there are certain toner colors I prefer. My daughter was a stylist and she has taught me a lot of what to do and not to do. I’ve also learned a lot from your videos and others. Thanks for all your reviews as they have been helpful. ❤
The thing that gets me is the color they are starting from. I have dark brown hair and I would NEVER think I could get close to platinum blonde at a salon much less at home!!
1:08! Great tip from someone who constantly bleaches his hair! Put the bleach on the roots, avoiding everything as much as possible that doesn’t need to be bleach! Add the coconut oil on those pieces afterwards incense of anything cross contamination!
Second recommendation is to add it on only end before applying but it’s much more likely to drip into the roots, unless you have longer hair, then much easier. Apply the bleach to the roots and your good to go! 🤙🏼

I learned from you the mistakes I made when originally chemically burning off 24inches of virgin hair. It’s not blonde anymore. I’m in the process of getting my volume back and shine. @hairbuddah I wanted to go from my reddish brown box dye to my now, natural color (white/grey/silver). 1 colorist said it would be 4-5 visits, weeks apart, to get the grey blended in. After 2 visits, she could no longer handle the strong fumes, so recommended another salon. The 2nd colorist told me it would be a "2 year journey", weeks apart at $500 a visit. 😮
On Dec. 22nd, I had my head shaved down to 1/2 inch.
My hair grows fast enough, plus I purchased a few wigs.
Even have a wig that's purple/dark blue!

Thank goodness I only like reds I always switch different reds and coppers every season but I learned so much from watching hair buddha how to change without damaging and it's a good thing to stay on the same color spectrum. ❤❤❤

I went from natural very dark brown (some say black) natural hair colour to platinum blonde and what a fiasco that was 😅
It took 6 bleaches on the lengths and did 2 on the roots. Had to go to the hairdresser’s for two rounds of toning to get a lot of the orangy yellow colour out. Then did a grey hair dye and aside from the roots still being orangy yellow, the back is finally a uniform white(ish) colour. This took over 6 weeks (I just did it over the weekends) to do. My hair is deader than dead but because I used 20 volume, I only had my ends that fried (which I cut, just about an inch) but no hair loss!! That’s the best part of this saga.

If you want that platinum blonde hair, put the coconut oil back into the kitchen. Get the 20 developers and anything but quick blue. Expect more than 2 sessions of bleaching and if you have the slightest doubt or nervousness, put it down and go to a professional. And no, it is not just hair, it's your confidence, your sanity, everything that gets hurt or damaged if you melt or loose your hair❤❤❤

Yesterday I went from burgundy to blonde. Toner on orange hair ain't gonna work 🤦♀️ platinum is so hard to get.
My process.
First I bleached with 20 volume since I have longer pixie cut hard not to get some roots in the back of head. So after the first session I had roots yet to do on the sides and front. But hair was dark orange.
So did another session of a quick bleach bath 10 minutes to get what I missed on my head and to process evenly. Turned out light orange almost a yellow orange.
Then I used permanent color medium "ash" blonde. ❤❤ ash tones out orange. Hair turned out blonde with a tint of light brown , i love it. Next time doing highlights in hair. Good enough for me.
I've been dying my hair my whole life it's so hard to get platinum I've gotten a few times but so hard to maintain at home so now just staying at a level 7 or 8 blonde now. Since in the winter I go burgundy and the rest of the year am blonde.
I am a natural redhead. I remember my mama telling me to never dye my hair. People pay good money to get my color. My mama tried to dye her hair like mine. It was cotton candy pink. She wore that for over a year! I finally told her to stop dying it. I loved her too much for her to keep doing it. She went back to blonde. That was her natural color.
