3 lane maps are sometimes asymmetrical, almost every bo1, 2, 3, 4 maps are 3 lane
In my opinion, every 3-5 years, there is one Call of Duty game that is actually interesting and unique.
I hope that Black Ops 6 is that game.

I want a game with the map design of World at War and Black Ops with the design of everything else like Black Ops 3 minus specialist. But I’ll take simple maps over bad complex ones

BO6 actually looks incredible and not just new maps - its the first real change in the game i have seen in 15 yrs
Personally feel like this new call of duty is going to bring a lot of good memories due to the new movement changed (well new to the cod franchise lol) like honestly that's what got me interested. Now I never skip a Black Ops Campaign because Treyarch make some pretty interesting stories, like as of right now I've recently have been replaying the black ops campaigns (not bo4 sadly) and honestly it's refreshing.
Now considering that MW3 (remake of mw3 from 2011) had a very bad campaign and well the writing was just all over the place. Also the "No Russian" Mission was so bad it made the old one from 2009 look like "damn this sh*t really was f*cked up to do and play". But I will say some moments in multiplayer is fun and memorable.

Yeah I've basically been maining Helldivers 2 for about 3 months today has been the first time I've even touched cod in a bit over 3 months
@Pr0digyZRX I recently re-download CoD and I just hop on Helldivers 2 or Insurgency Sandstorm when I'm in an online shooter mood instead of trying CoD again lol

I'm gonna be real, game seems great, very fresh, but the 3 lane maps are a bit of a turnoff. Usually results in simple, boring, repetitive gameplay. Just like cold war. As long as they're mixed up I'm fine. I just think 3 lane maps are overrated, especially nuketown.
The problem is any time cod has tried to go away from 3 lane maps it ended in a campy nightmare
@@senorquack5182 I encountered just as many campers in cold war than in MW 2019 90% of play of the games in cold war come from someone camping.

@@Cookingclover420 Thats simply not true unless you just play in terrible lobbies. MW2019's removal of important systems heavily slowed down the game

I actually like the Omni movement idea. But honestly if this game isn’t good I’m not buying them anymore and I think a lot of people will do the same. We’ve had a few years of misses, this one is hyped and has a reasonable development cycle, so if they mess this one up they just can’t do anything right anymore.
I think the game so far from what we've seen looks really solid. That's why I like cd so much is I always know it's going to be and play like call of duty.
This is the first year I'm officially not hyped at all for a cod game. I was even excited for ww2, iw, and mw23.
So what made you not hyped for this even when you were hyped for every shit Cod? Even when Treyarch hasnt made a single bad cod?
@@senorquack5182 Hype is not something that corresponds to quality, it's a subjective view of the marketing material surrounding the game. You may wanna look back to the cod franchise without rose tinted glasses and hype. It is the same marketing as cw nothing has changed. The reality of the situation is that this is just another subscription fee for a yearly reset of a stagnant, middle of the road fps with grindy p2w features, fomo, casino style matchmaking, bad graphics for how bad the performance is and 200gb of wasted hard drive space. I don't care for games that don't respect my time or my money and CoD hasn't been one in a while. I just wasn't financially responsible enough to notice.

@@senorquack5182 Saying Treyarch hasn't made a "single bad CoD" is a subjective comment. I haven't fully enjoyed a Treyarch game since BO2, at least from a multiplayer standpoint. BO3 wasn't for me. BO4 was a weird hero shooter hybrid. Cold War was just meh for me
@@markjones5672 its subjective sure, but generally none of them are actually badly made. None of them have crazy flaws that ruin the gameplay (like removal of important features that end up slowing the gameplay...)

Honestly I haven't been excited for a Treyarch CoD game in a long time. This hasn't changed it. Even the story trailer didn't take my interest
The following would have made for better ideas and probably a better game:
1. Call of Duty Vietnam
2. Call of Duty Great War
3. Call of Duty Guerilla
4. Call of Duty Planetfall
5. Call of Duty Golden Triangle
6. Call of Duty Resource War’s
7. Call of Booty Whores at War

I feel terrible because i dont want to be hypercritcal of games as back then you didnt have to do that since most games in the golden era had competition but focused on fun and innovation and improvement but now and days you never know if a company and dev team is passionate or just wants to do bare minimum to sell the product. Games are products now though i hope palworld and helldivers can breed new life into gaming as they were passionate studios

If any developer has movement mechanics down to a science, it's Treyarch. I'm totally looking for forward to this new movement in B06. Out of all the boost jump/advance movement CODs....Treyarch nailed it in B03. COD Cold War movement is superb also. If this was Sledge Hammer announcing this game, it'd be a hard pass.
