You better don't forget to emphasize the eternal rule of the Spider-Man mask, center line at the top, split at the bottom.
I know there's exceptions (Raimi, Spectacular, Edge of Time), but it's kinda how it's supposed to be and automatically makes him look way cooler imo
I never knew that rule and I never knew why my spider masks felt off, thanks!
@@RebelTheArtGal It gets a bit less noticable the busier the webbing is, but yeah I can almost guarantee you if you look at any random image of him, you'll find that rule applies to the mask.
If your Spidey drawings felt like they had a little something off about him before, maybe that could "fix it"

Like you’ve said, it’s not an eternal rule: many artists have done Spidey well without the split at the bottom

Still, I very rarely see it pointed out when people explain how to draw Spidey, despite it being such a consistent quirk of his design

As someone who has been drawing spider-man since I was a wee lil lad and knows how to draw him accurately off of memory I see this as an absolute win

I often play around with Insomniac's photo mode to get poses and references for my own Spider-man sketches.
One of the things I have in common with Kai; I can also only draw Spiderman😂😂

I always find it very difficult trying to figure out what pose to draw and what angle. I usually use a figure as reference but so far I haven’t been able to draw a very dynamic spider-man

I drew spider-man as well by just drawing comic art as homages but i also tried something new and use action figures for pose references, preferably sh figurarts, revoltech and or mafex since they have better posability to get good spider-man poses
