Hi everyone. I really hope you are all good and that you are getting the best possible out of the situation. I hope you can find a little inspiration in this video. I have so many videos I want to make and share with you so I am looking forward to this spring and this summer. By the way - if you want to skip all my talking, just jump directly to 28:17 See you out there.. All the best, Morten
Here quarantined and hope soon world health from Cov19 , really enjoy your vids and personally , travel my mind along those beautiful places ! Inspire from fotography , bring peace from nature...thanks again Morten !
Dear Morten, I'm not speaking very well english but I can stay many hours with a cup of coffee watching your videos and I wanted to thank you for all the amazing content... like you often say : oooohhhh. Don't change anyhing. Thank you for everything! (my daughter corrected my english :))
Who knew? All those years ago when we were building forts, we were actually training to be wildlife observers/ photographers. Another excellent video Morten. Thanks!
I could spend hours just watching wathever you do, because you are so natural and real, not pretending to be anything else than yourself. This is great. Thank you!
There are lots of Common Chiffchaffs in that forest. They are probably nesting in there... Here in Spain they are very common in winter but they dont nest here except a few pairs in some apart mountains. Good video!
Morten great video. You inspired me from your previous video to show some tracking and bush craft in how we do some things in the states. Thanks again for the natural blind tips.
Morton dear friend of nature like nothing happens and you show us so much beauty of nature. now when the whole world is suffering from Covid-19 You show us a piece of nature how it lives and how to breathe it looking at your films. You are a wonderful man . thank you for your passion for silent prayers you say before taking beautiful pictures.
I’ve had a badger almost walk into me a couple of times recently. I managed some decent photos but I had to hiss to bring it’s attention to the fact I was there. They’re quite intimidating when they’re coming at you.
I'm your fan, subscribed to your channel for years. The quality of these videos is so great that it looks like a scenario behind you. A hug from Brazil
Another great video. I love making and using natural photo blinds as you can totally blend in and feel as one with the area you are set up in. My methods I implement have come from two past careers, one in the British army and especially on my snipers Instructors course when you got into a FFP and the other was during my time working as a surveillance Operative in the Insurance Fraud sector and whilst conducting rural Surveillance I learned so much on how to make a hide out of everything natural which would allow me to dissappear but still be very comfortable for many hours. Keep up the excellent work.
Morton, you are extremely inspirational and very charismatic. The videos are fantastic, so natural. Please continue to produce such useful information. The bushcraft series are great. Thanks Edward.
Morten, thanks for sharing your skills with building a natural photo blind and your skills about finding wild life. I enjoy your videos some much. Keep up the great work, it is very much appreciated !
Hi Morten, I just can't say enough how enjoyable it is to watch your videos. Your passion and humor are a joy to watch, especially now with all this going on. Take care, stay safe and best wishes. Joe
Build a log cabin? 😂 I’m sure you could make one, but best to focus on your new deck (terrace?), yes? 😉 Thanks for helping those of us stuck at home with your informative and insightful vlogs. Stay healthy and safe, Morten! 😉👋🏼👍🏼
Morten thank you for sharing the natural photo blind. I am going to try making this and just using my regular camera & just zoom in for closer look! I love it and enjoyed your video! SWAD is good tips also...☀️
Haha. This is hilarious. I built one yesterday and I was frantically looking around youtube for a video on how to build a blind out of natural materials (there were none). If only I knew you were going to make this video today, I would have waited. Anyway, you’re probably still the reason why I build it because you’re soo inspiring. Thank you for all your work!
Its 11:00 in the night. Have to get up early to go after birds in the morning. By getting up early. And still I can't stop myself from watching your video before going to sleep. Really Love and respect your work. You are an inspiration to me. Hope to bring Wildlife in India the way you do. In a Truthful and Very Respectful manner. So people learn to enjoy and respect wildlife As well. 😅😅😅😅😅
Great video. I always learn so much from you. I could listen to those birds all day long. My favorite part of camping is being awakened by birds early in morning. Take good care.
"it's nine a clock, so almost midday". yeah, it could be for someone who woke up at 5:00am. I know that feeling because I used to wake up work work at 4:15am
Very useful been doing it two days now and I'm amazed with the results! Just a pile of branches and even woodpecker came with in 5m eating ants. Thank you was 3th day I tried to photograph them, with this technique I finally got the shot and even some video of the green woodpeckers couple
Great video once again, thanks a lot :) you help me going threw lock down, and i will definitly go to build a blind and shoot when it is over, thanks to you !
Great information and great tips. Something different than talking about camera gears and settings. One thing that I always wondered, is if they have a great sense of smell, what about smelling coffee? I'm not that great, but it takes a pretty strong wind for me not to be able to smell coffee at 30 yards!! Awesome video and keep creating them.
Brilliant video Morten, hiding and getting into a good position without being noticed or disturbing the animal is almost as satisfying as getting the Photo. 👍🏻
Thank you so much for taking the time and sharing your vast knowledge! Your tips are great and your videos are entertaining! Your respect for wildlife is inspiring!!
I really love how you try to keep your distance from the animals and their homes :) Imagine if something ten times my size came trampling around my house!! I’d be scared to death...and probably move away entirely causing massive stress!! Huge respect for you for this and goes to show your not just an incredible wildlife photographer your a decent and thoughtful person too! 👍🏼
That's so fantastic! Thank you very much! "Please no comments", haha :-D But please: More of these very informative "How to"-videos! For me it's much more intersting than gear videos because what we as wildlife photographers want is to find the animals. That's for me the first point, the second or third is the equipment! Cheers, Joshi
Excellent video, Morten. Could you maybe make a video on how to track different animals? I learned a bit about how to track foxes and badgers on your previous video, thanks for that :)
Another great video as always Morten, been setting up quite a few like this at my place recently for my next Vlog/project. Great to mention about the subjects welfare being of prime importance:-) all the best and thanks again, stay safe 🙏👍Richard
I enjoyed a lot this one! I'd suggest you to do more videos about how to track different animals. Personally I'd love to watch a kind of mini series about that, allways focused on to not disturb wildlife. That would be great! Thanks a lot for sharing!
What a great video again Morten. Thanks a lot. Suppose you have got enough of nature photography, you can definately find a job at the Danish special forces I think :-)
Childhood memories came up when I saw your natural photoblind. That's exactly what I build up with some friends in the forrest near my parents place. I think I have to go out with my son and build one in the forrest nearby.
Hi Morten, I hope you're well! I'm so glad I discovered you from Brendan van Son's channel in the last week, I've been catching up with all of your videos ever since! It's incredibly enjoyable watching your videos and seeing your passion and excitement for what you do and sharing it with us. I love that we can relax with a coffee and feel like we're there with you on every trip. You inspire me and many other people and I recently bought the Tamron 150-600 G2 lens to take my own photography to the next stage so I'm looking forward to trying that out. I look forward to watching every great video and keeping learning a lot from you and getting new ideas, thank you very much for that! I wish you all the best and take care!
Morten what type of binoculars are you using? Are you using 10x42 or 8x42? What do you prefer? Have you consider switching binoculars to like 8x25 or 10x30 or something?
this series of field craft tips is very interesting, please go on! it's really inspiring to see you on the field and learn how many possibilities there are out there to enjoy nature at its best. Hope to see nice badger photos in your next video ;-)
I love your videos from the forest, it’s seems i I am walking there myself. It is so soothing, nostalgic and heart warming 🥰 please as many as you can 🙏🏻 and then it comes the coffee time 🤯 😍 awesome!!!! Keep up and thank you for your such a lovely videos!
As kids, we called them "forts". I can see that placing the tripod when you come back could be an issue so you do not knock your stand over. Informative and a good refresher. Thanks.
Hello Morten, first of all cheers from Slovakia. I have watched all of your vids until now and find some great inspiration in it (if i don't see the actual video that day its probably because i am out there. This series are i think the most helpful and informative to see how things are made real from a pro like you. I found few weeks ago an old sand mine which is pretty full of dens (badger definitely and foxes) I use there a Desert Ghillie because of high dry grass - works well, but in forest its pain to use ( i am on market for a 3d Camo now for forest shooting). Stay healthy and keep up with great work for us. Thank you.
Thanks a lot for all the useful tips and information Morten. It really reminded me of all the "fortresses" one build as a kid :) Hope you will get to see the badger and can take some nice photos.
Fine video Morten, I have learned things again and otherwise I have been inspired. The bird you saw at the end under the bark was probably a Short-toad Treecreepeer which is of course beautiful when you are waiting for the badger.
Thank you so much for this (kind of) video!!! I'm very interested in your clothes-/ camouflage-tips, your Z 6 camera-settings (AF...) and how to find roe deer or other animals in the woods.
Terrific as usual. Inspiring me to get out to our local conservation areas, find where our larger wildlife live and set up with my 200-500 lens. (Also tempting to buy a Z6 for the silent shutter.). Thanks again.
Great stuff as always Morten! Thank you for bringing us along on these! So many useful tips and tricks, that so many of us did do growing up and goofing off on building! Cheers!
Really enjoyed your video. I have a small grove of trees around our farm and you have given me great ideas on how to go out and photograph the deer that make their way threw our property almost every evening. Thank you for sharing even your simplest thoughts with us, it helps bring out creativity in each one of our situations! God Bless! Keep up the great work! :)
Hi everyone. I really hope you are all good and that you are getting the best possible out of the situation. I hope you can find a little inspiration in this video. Are you afraid of bugs?
I just have to ask, what camera are you using for the vlogging?
Here quarantined and hope soon world health from Cov19 , really enjoy your vids and personally , travel my mind along those beautiful places ! Inspire from fotography , bring peace from nature...thanks again Morten !

33:55 you need to have your coffee! My man. I like my pop-up tent a lot, but this is also great! Thanks for the video.
Loved this feel like im learning something far more import than camera settings. Thanks.
My thoughts exactly!
There are lots of Common Chiffchaffs in that forest. They are probably nesting in there... Here in Spain they are very common in winter but they dont nest here except a few pairs in some apart mountains. Good video!

One more supper video Morten. The words you where looking for is the Badger in SHORT SIGHTED. But so interesting.
Fantastic video again , the thought had not even crossed my mind to make a natural blind !
Morten great video. You inspired me from your previous video to show some tracking and bush craft in how we do some things in the states. Thanks again for the natural blind tips.

Tea is only for when we have a stomachache or something, if not then coffee is the way to go. Nice vid, Morten! Keep them coming, much appreciated!
I’ve had a badger almost walk into me a couple of times recently. I managed some decent photos but I had to hiss to bring it’s attention to the fact I was there. They’re quite intimidating when they’re coming at you.

By now all animals in Denmark are probably wondering where all that coffee smell comes from all the time while they can't see anything.
Childhood memories came up when I saw your natural photoblind. That's exactly what I build up with some friends in the forrest near my parents place. I think I have to go out with my son and build one in the forrest nearby.
