This is NOT a Dutch nationalist song. This is a song created by the NSB, which was the Dutch fascist movement which sought to subject the Netherlands to German rule. Nothing about it is nationalistic. The song was made by Piet Heins, a componist who collaborated extensively with the German occupiers. He made propaganda for the Germans, including this song, to get people to join the Sturmabteilung (SA) and NSB. The SA was the paramilitary wing of the Nazi Party, and one of its purposes -- together with the NSB -- during the occupation of the Netherlands was the systemic extermination of the Jews. The 'stormsoldaten' are not just regular soldiers of the Dutch or even German army, they were the thugs of the NSB and SA. They literally weren't soldiers. They were racists who were given guns and told to hunt down Jews. Let me be clear: this song has nothing to do with the Netherlands. It's propaganda that was used to aid the annexation of the Netherlands and the extermination of the Jews, homosexuals, leftists and all other minorities. I don't oppose this song being publicly available, but it should come with the disclaimer that this is a fascist song.
Actually, the NSB wanted to create "Dietschland" - the unification of the Netherlands and Flanders. It was the NSNAP who wanted unification with Germany, the NSNAP actually considered the NSB as being fake National Socialists for not wanting to be part of Germany.
Now that the Netherlands have a new right-wing coaltion gouvernment, I bet this is their favourite song. I Imagine Geert Wilders having this as a ringtone. To our Dutch antifascist brothers and sisters: Keep up the fight! Greetings from Deutschland
Well, Israel itself has a right-wing leadership and is an ethnostate which hates Arabs. So no wonder Wilders supports them. By the way, my comment above was hyperbolic.
What a joke. Actually fascists and NS don't support Wilders, he is controlled opposition and literally nothing will change here. You should be content because Wilders more our enemy then yours. Nothing is going to change here.
@@Blackdeathgaming-yv1kk Just because modern fascists have decided that they hate Muslims now instead of the Jews does not make them anti-fascist or "controlled opposition". The New Far Right is smarter than all of you old Nazis longing for the old days. That does not make them any less dangerous for the international working class though.

the so called right wing government could be more globalist and jewish (check wilders :half indo , jew-german).
