The moment in this episode I always tear up at is the "You're not gonna do it?" line when Kageyama's just about to set someone else. It's the first time in the show that Hinata and Kageyama are finally on equal footing with their expectations of each other, and for some reason Kageyama having that realization in that moment really hits home for me.
Exactly. Let's go back to S1 EP1. Hinata is everything Kageyama ever wanted in a spiker. quoting: "High level of physical agility, reflexes. Finely tuned body control and his obsession with victory. He's got it all".

Libero set to back row attack, synchro attack to jump serve - the kinds of things they're practicing for matches, man, everything is gonna get so lit (I KEEP SAYING THIS BUT IT'S TRUE OK IT DOESN'T STOP LEVELING UP)
Also lol I appreciate the differences in spiker-setter relationships: Bokuto and Akaashi (YZ relates lmao - I get), Hinata and Kageyama, the entirety of Nekoma with Kenma - they're all different and unique, and it really showcases how different personalities and strengths can combine and bring out the best in each other
And yeah, I agree with everyone else that's been saying this but Haikyuu's training arcs are the few that I never mind watching repeatedly! It's never filler, and the kind of development that every character gets is always interesting to watch, can't help but be invested in every character's actions - and I love that y'all are loving season 2! It just builds man, one of the few anime I like that I feel like the next season just gets better :D

Lol Rise. YZ is right. That’s how Bokuto is. He’s an ace but he has his down times aka “depressed mode”. Akashi and the team are used to it already 😂 they know how to deal with him
glad to see y’all enjoy season2 !! maybe after you’ve finished the series it’d be funny to go back and watch some dub moments cause haikyuu is definitely 2x funnier/sillier in dub!
