@@jakesiedentop1969 I use a protek servo in mine. It’s been great. I gave a pretty inexpensive radio from Flysky RC that’s been great too. As for batteries I personally use venom and spektrum ones but there are some great options out there from other brands too.
instead of the double sided tape, could you attach the receiver and ecs with velcro? that 3M tape is a PITA to ever remove if you need to change parts at sometime.
It can be. I bought a no-name brand and so far it sticks really well but it pretty removable. No idea who makes it but it was on Amazon. I too have had issue removing the really good stuff so now I use this.
Hello, nice video and build. I have few questions: how did you increase clearance in this build? What real clearance now? With your improvements from videos tt02 p1-3? What angle turning forward wheels? PS: My english is weak. So maybe you answered some questions in the video, but I just didn't understand)
I just followed the kit instructions for the high ground clearance build its in the manual that comes with the kit. I haven't measured it, but its noticeably higher than the standard build height. Sorry I can't be of more help, but the pieces I used didn't do anything to increase the height, that was just done by following the Tamiya instructions.
There is an option in the tt02 kit to have higher clearance by inverting the turn buckle. It is optional and the instruction is located near the end of the instruction booklet
I love TT-02's but man, you took a $100 car and made it a $400 car when you could have just went TRF at that point. The blue is cool, but these are bashers
Like the build video , I’am watching it many times. That blue aluminium parts looks great
Thanks 👍
Should have sanded those wheel arches, They stand out a mile.😁Just discovered your channel, great stuff so far.
Yeah I need ot go back and clean it all up. Thanks.
You have been very helpful! I just purchased the mew Ford escort tt 02.
Awesome.
@@JohnBattistini00 It's my first build. What type of servo and radio and battery should I get if I plan to upgrade motor and esc in the future? Thx!!

@@JohnBattistini00 thank you!!
Blue Anodized parts look cool.
Thanks. Love that color.
Great vid!!
Does anyone know if I can fit those rally tyres on my tt02b plasma 2 existing wheels? My diameter is 62mm approx
Thanks
I don't know, sorry.
Thank you for this video!!! Which servo do you recommend (did you use) for this RC? I'm building my first RC and really like this Rally Car's look.
I have a link to the servo I used in the description.

2.4ghz systems don't need the silly whip antennas anymore.
Yes, Thankfully. I even got to remove the weird metal antenna bar from my vintage 959 when I swapped out the receiver.
Ta Mi Ya..
We've been down this road already. I am working on it. LOL!
Why even buy the car kit when you don't use half of the kit just buy everything separate
Why not? It was a fun project to see how far we could take it beyond stock.

Still was fun to build.
@@JohnBattistini00 No doubt, looks great as well.
Thanks!!
