Is there a difference between paratha and porota?

2 rotis/phulka's or chapati's (english word) and triangle with oil is a parantha.
Tried your way of making chappati, turned out so soft. Thank you from Singapore🙏💐
THANKS!! for Sharing it's Really helpfull💖
You are such an inspiration!! I'll also become a successful youtuber like you one day. Thnk you so much didi !!
The main difference are,
Chapati: Using oil on the tawa.
Phulka: Using tawa and gas to cook.
Roti: Not using the oil on the tawa.
Phulka: phulne dene ka
Chapati: inlogo ne galt batayi phulke ka same recipe par phulne ni dene ka
Width small
Prantha width big
Roti: combination of two but 1/2 phulane ka not full like phulka
So softy and pluffy loved it . 👌👌👌👌

Are you not indian or what because most of the Indians have roti almost daily
@@prgyalakshmee4452 No I'm not. Lol
I thought chapathi was roti....all this while. Your cooking videos are amazing. Simple and easy to learn. Thank you.
Know better.
Helpful video, Thankyou
Amazing technic. I must try it. Thanks dear for your wonderful trick. Good luck.😍😍😍😍
Nice chapati, roti , phulka 👌👌
Roti and chapati are names of same thing in north. Some like to cook it direct flame some don't. Both puff up. Some people are particular to call the direct flame version as phulka and the only tawa cooking version as roti. The triangle one was a Parantha. When you shallow fry this bread on tawa itself, stuffed or not, it's called parantha. I think the confusion is because of difference in South and North Indian popular terminology for these. She made them all very nice. I would prefer direct flame to be really direct, not on the mesh/jaal she used.
Who thinks that it is way more easier to kneed a dough in parat (a large dish traditionally used to kneed dough) than a bowl ?
True..

For those who are wondering about the different names, chapati and roti are the same.
What is shown as chapati here is actually plain parantha in the northern part of India. Just that, In the south they call it chapati. They don’t usually like it dry and so call plain parantha, chapati. The Parontha in the south js a completely different thing made out of maida (refined flour)
wohi to!
It's not parontha.. It's porotta (south Indian)
Wow thq Archana 😍
U r always rocking 👏👏👏

May I know where can we get those spatula you used online? Any leads are helpful.
Please can you give the recipe for vanilla sponge cake (very soft fluffy)
The thing I struggle with is to make the rotis round!
Take a round plate..keep it on the flat dough, press it and then remove the excess edges. It will be round. 🤠
