Alexandra Rabinovich there’s a little adapter thing that comes with the pencil so you can charge it with a wire rather than it sticking out of the iPad!

The small thing that sold me on Goodnotes 5 is the eraser fonction, you can have the erase revert back to your last pen when your done erasing automatically, find it much better than tapping the pencil

I am debating on getting the 11 in vs the 12.9 in (leaning towards the 11 in because it's cheaper). Do you like the size of your iPad or do you regret not getting the bigger size?
I know this comment is a year old but I wanted to comment for others that have the same question. I started with this exact iPad. The screen size is good for on the go studying. But I found after a while that it was too small for split screen for me. My 12.9 2020 pro isn't as portable (doesn't fit in my handbag) but I still love taking it to Costa to study. Split screen is so much better. I don't regret having the smaller one first, since I wasn't sure if I would love the whole Apple environment. It's a very costly chance to take.
Quick tip! The double tap feature can be used on any surface of the pencil, not only the flat side! Also, if you dont want to double tap each time you switch from the eraser to to the pen, tap the eraser icon then select “Auto-Deselect”. This allows you switch back to the pen after you take the apple pencil off the screen! Hope this helped!!!

i believe that the screen protector has nothing to do with the tip wearing off, although eventually the tip will start to wear off (about every 6 month) so you may have to purchase new tips if and when that happens
Does the pressure sensitivity still work on GoodNotes (Ex: I want to write A cursive Header, but I want it to have the sensitivity that will make it look for like as if I were using a brush pen)

I suggest u take ipad first... I have Mac and I'm gonna buy an ipad... coz Mac can only help in organising ur notes...but u can't take ur notes on Mac... it's a lil difficult... u'll have to carry note books n all.. Ipad is all in one thing...no need to carry anything wid u... just ur ipad and the pencil

If your talking about with writing u can change it so they know ur left handed and it will compensate for that hope this helps

Quick tip! You can move the magnifier thing up on your screen so your wrist doesn’t hang off the edge of the iPad and get tired

Yes, it has palm rejection technology that allows it to detect when you are using the pencil or if you are using just your hand
