I have the pro but tbh, I'd 100000% recommend getting the iPad Air 4th gen. It's basically the pro without Face ID. it has USB-C, the A14 chip and supports the 2nd gen pencil for a lower cost!

You can then have that page where your limes won't be erased and you can use. I've drawn my own planners dividers etc that way and use that as template.
Id like to use black paper but I constantly fear that my professor’s gonna be like “hey guys today you’re going to have to print out all of your notes by the end of class” and i dont feel like converting all that writing from neon to ones that are legible on white paper

I really like paperlike too! I used to use a cheap matt screen protector from amazon but at a certain point, my iPad just wouldn't react to certain gestures so I took it off. When I got paperlike, it got so much better, haha

You can create a template of that page with a line in the middle. It will save time.
