With 2 batteries it is really perfect for the price… get the dji spark hack! It goes faster than other drones and 3km far

Excellent review, have been flying it for years and still loving it. Actually like flying it more than Mavic 2. It's also pretty fun to zip around without the phone .....line of sight....will geofence automatically if ya try to go too far or too high ....keeps ya out of trouble. Tough like a little tank.

I own this drone (bought it new when it was released) and decided to see if anyone was still using it/talking about it in 2022. Wasn't expecting a 14 year old! Good job young man! Upvoted! (p.s. maybe buy this drone for your kids to play with but not much else)

I bought my little Spark in 2018 and it's still going strong. I considered getting a more updated one like the Mavic Mini series, but this little Spark does everything I want it to and is a tough little thing.
I highly recommend the portable charger dock as well. Great protective case that can recharge all 3 batteries twice on the go!

Awesome to see this review in 2022! I’ve been sparking since 2017, still going. Agree with other comments it is a little tank- last I checked, it still has one of the best power to weight ratios of any DJI on the market. Easier to sneak into some countries that have drone import taxes too 👀. I’ve found that ND filters on the camera and getting into white balance settings help with some of the filming cons, post-editing usually a must. 2 axis gimbal and 1080p limitation I think is the biggest downside, but with the price I feel okay taking riskier shots with this over water, fast in tree cover, etc. that is one hidden benefit with no object sensors in sport mode because it won’t stop you from taking shots where you might need to almost run into something 🤷♂️. Im usually satisfied with uploading at 1080p after some adobe editing- Francis Scott channel has some good vids on editing spark footage to cinematic quality. Great review- wish DJI would’ve continued developing this because the sensor can go up to 2k but they made the mini instead and this gem has faded into obscurity…..maybe they will see this video and comments

Although I have the M2Z now, I find that I actually use it less often due to how heavy it is! (But occusync 2.0 is epic)

Just bought a Spark. I have the mini but like the sturdy build quality of the spark. Being someone who just loves the view from the air and snooping around a bit the spark is fine.

In 2023 Spark is still a good drone for learning to fly, photographing and filming.
It still takes satisfactory photos and videos. I bought a new battery for Spark from DJI October 2022 production.
Good review bro! Thanks! I bought combo in 2018. Still have it in 2023. I fly very rarely. Battery life was 14 min when it was new. Now 10 min. I’d like to sellout this, and buy mini 3.

I have the dji spark and bought it for 200 dollars… i bought a hack for 38 euros that makes is flight 74km/hour and makes the flight distance about 3km… so for photography it is still really good for the price… and my dji spark is faster than most drones after the hack… 10m climbing in one second is insane

It also connects wirelessly via wifi to your phone.. another pro. No need to plug anything into the phone when it is in the controller.

I found your video during a search for the DJI spark. I'm working on a video where I'll shoot a drone out of the sky using a 3D printed rocket. Great video and like your production style. I can buy a used Spark from a local seller online but given the low battery life, gonna pass.

The image quality is pretty darn decent.
I got to disagree with you about the image quality. Unless you are a professional cinematographer the resolution quality of the spark it’s just fine. It shoots amazing video.

This drone has “N0” object sensors but the front and bottom do,
Should’ve said there’s only object sensors in the front and bottom but wish there was more

Can I connect an iphone 14 to it?
Saw one used for $120. Much better than the crappy drones of 4 years ago. Almost disposable.
I think you can get a mini 1 for cheaper and will be much better.
Connection to the controller is terrible as well not being wired.
I am seeing used Mavic Minis and even mini 2's at under $300.. you still gotta pay extra for the flymore kits... but so much better in all the con areas and it flys 30 mintues.. and 6 miles out and then back. so why would anybody pay more than $100 for this thing ?
This review is a little outdated now with all the new Mini series coming out - probably getting a used Mini 2 will get you more value although there are still some drawbacks!

Usually this would be true but it depends on what you're prioritizing - losing that forward obstacle avoidance could be a big downside for some people
@@TimonEmch I say if ur gonna fly that low why not just get a regular camera drones r meant to go high. Get above the trees and take off
