Cool! I wish I had a RC10 I had one as a kid and loved it! You probably need those almost smooth super low knob rear tires for carpet, if the front was pushing out understeer soften up the front and make the rear stiffer you will gain more steering on power. Don't you wish the track was real dirt like in the 80's that would be super cool!
Used to run Tekin in all my rc cars (over 20) from associated t1/t2 to david junn street cars several minis a few f1’s. Never had an issue with them on oner 15 years of racing

yes you can find NOS parts, sometimes you got to look a bit best bet is Ebay, can also buy a beat up truck for parts
