i still have my OG RC10T that i bought in the mid 90's it lives forever on my desk, the servo was tapped down but i used something tougher, still holding, notched the rear frame to make room for a clip on motoro heatsink, still running the old gem series diamond 12T double, Novak ESC, grey shocks, and lots of dust
I have just started my build as we speak. Stopped for a video break and this showed up in my feed. I was disappointed it did not have bearings as I assumed it would have unlike the RC10ST I built back in 1993. I was happy to see bearings in my Kyosho Optima re-release along with the belt upgrade. Hopefully I do not strip out pt#6575 like I did on my ST.
I have that same brushed reedy motor I bought for a T3 and it’s a good quick motor. I used a 2/1 spectrum brushed esc/receiver and I ran either 7 cell NiH batteries or 2s lipos and that setup I thought was great for the older cars. Much faster than they were originally and fun in the dirt. I sold my T3 and am looking to buy this redo. Thanks
This is the first time I've seen your hair messed up lol Do you think the drivetrain can take a brushless system What don't you like about the brushed system
1:40 A.M. is not really an "All nighter". I would call it "burning the midnight oil." Not that I could stay up all night doing this. I'm too old for that crap. LOL
Love the content and delivery. Fast becoming one of my favorite channels 👍👍
I'll do my best to keep up (or improve) the quality!
Ok yes
Another great video, thanks for the build tips. Hoping mine arrives today.
Hope there's some helpful stuff in there for your build.

The old Speed Gems are my favorite. Don't know if we'll ever see powder coated cans again for each specific wind.
I had the Diamond it was an awesome motor. Used it in a Kyosho Outlaw Ultima
Same 90s version with slot machine motor;)

It’s just hard to justify lack of bearings being included in kits these days.
Good content 👍
Thanks 👍
Another great build 👍🤝Can't wait to see the body 😉
Thank you! I have some ideas cooking!
My buddy had an original and his servo was definitely taped down too. I remember only because his servo would move around on the chassis
Yeah, I don’t understand why they went away from a properly mounted servo to tape. Weird.
Nice build 😊 Just subscribed my friend. I look forward to building mine this week
Thank you!

I think the motor will be great. Really looking forward to it.
Some good insights!
Hope they help you out!
nice mine should be waiting for me when I get home from work.
Hopefully you can build it at a more reasonable hour than I did.
@@quietrc Yes thank god I do not have to film it
I love your channel. I feel like we'd be buddies.
Anybody who loves my channel must be weird like me... so I could see that

I had just wrestled 3 kids through dinner out and then went into the wee hours of the night... just trying to show you I am human after all!

Video can't edit itself! I wrapped editing at 4:40AM.
@@quietrc Ohhhh.....I didn't realize you edited it the same night too. I would say that qualifies as an all-nighter. 4:40 A.M. is too late for me.
@@KevintheTerrible Its too late for me, as well. Two days later and I don't feel fully recovered.
