Thank you AE for not ruining this video by having unneeded music playing in the (entire) background like in the last video. And good choice with the narrow fronts...sold it for me to grab one. Looks WAY better with those than the wides.
I raced a JRXT when these came out, in no time Losi changed their transmission to one that was more like the RC10t. After I drove the 10T the first time, I was hooked, sold my Traxxas TRX-1 buggy and my JRXT truck and bought the 10T and the Worlds Car and still drive Associated ever since!
My favorite was the RC10GT With a Red Square Head OS.12 engine. I modified it to use a two-speed clutch and Spur gear from an HPI Nitro RS4. It was fast for its time. That nitro truck is super fun and still runs to this day.
I have one, built but never ran. Earlier 7055 made in America kit version. Has the os cv red v head, black tub chassis, futaba mag Jr, radio system, 3 piece white wheels, all original packaging in shelf queen condition. Lots of extras from the same day in 1993 when it was purchased, body is painted exactly like the box art. Just received my 40th anniversary rc10 today and learned of the re-release of the RC10T, awesome!
Man Oh Man! That t-shirt brings me back as much as the 10T, probably more! Thanks for making these videos, guys. So cool to hear the origin stories about the cars we all loved.
@AE: The vintage market grew a lot in the past years. You saw how the 40th sold. The RC10T is sold out in Germany already. A lot of people starve for these cars and parts. Don’t stop there. We want to race them, want spares, vintage Reedy Sonic motors and Novak esc. Make that happen and profit from the generation that has the money now to buy what they couldn’t as teens back then.
EXACTLY what I've been thinking!!! I ordered one anyway... but seriously! and it should come with ball bearings, too. They're so cheap to make nowadays, they could've thrown them in for us (400 bucks for a kit with bushings!!!)
Nice! Keep it up Team AE! The first new kit I ever bought was the original bathtub RC10gt. Had been a fan already for a few years with a gold pan hand me down from a buddy, set up for gearbox carpet oval and a used T. Even went so far as building a new 10R5o from the parts list just to race it at the local concrete superspeedway about 10-15 years ago when it started back up. One question though. What is the name of the intro song?
I REALLY wish the rerelease came with wide and narrow wheels for the front!!! That's disappointing to me, as I prefer the wide ones. edit: especially for the 400 bucks I paid to "preorder" it! ...and bushings? Really? The hard anno shocks w/ black caps would've been very nice, too
Please stop with the limited edition stuff. We want to be able to race and have parts support, you have already paid for all the tooling decades ago, it is a win win for everyone.
Totally agree Mike. I'm not sure I'll even pick this up if that's not the case. For me I've got to be able to run it and that means something will eventually break. I don't want that to be the reason it becomes a pre mature shelf queen.
Good luck trying to get one looks as though AE are shafting all the retailers that have supported them for decades. Maybe just produce the kits to feed the demand instead of buggering around with limited numbers and fancy numbered decal. Vintage buggy racing has become huge and AE are missing out big time. In fact they have shot themselves in the foot so bad you can actually buy a complete RC10 reproduction from China. Ffs AE pull your finger out !!
We need some re-release 80-90's 540 motors and esc's, box art and all. I have no interest in modern electronics, at least not in my classic stuff. The prices of vintage esc's and even resistor style speed controllers are going way too high.
The RC10T is one of my favorite AE rc’s. Had mine since early 90’s

Reliving my youth with that talk!
I still run my RC10GT as well. Nitro FTW!
me too! my FAVORITE OF ALL TIME!!
I have several, and even 2 converted to brushless! lol

I had the truck and the shirt!
Curt, we need that shirt next. 😱🙏🙏
That was my same thought.
Me too please reissue that shirt ASAP
Yes please I need the vintage shirt!

From what I’ve seen there will be spares as the part numbers are in the manual
Yesssss ❤❤ can't wait to build this one. I can still remember building the original and racing it. 😊🇺🇸🇺🇸 The good Ole days.
Great video , I was at that winter champs in Florida Great Truck
Cmon guys… Being Team Associated and having 26k subs you have to get some mics for better audio for these legends. I love you regardless.
Love the look of these squared up trucks, like an old Toyota pickup (pre-Tacoma).
Time to keep the AE rere machine in production. Don't stop now!!!
THIS!!!!!!!!!!!
Wish there was 1:10 dirt track here in Atlanta. I’d get right back into it.
❤❤❤❤❤ ABSOLUTELY , AWESOME,,AFTER 30YEARS IT IS STILL AWESOME 🎉🎉🎉🎉🎉❤❤❤❤🙏🙏🙏🙏🙏🙏🙏🙏🙏
Should include both sets of wheels and tires along with the team shocks, just like my original kit had.

For the price absolutely!

When are we expecting the re release in the uk any idea?

I am pretty sure the first kits were narrow wheels only as Team associated mailed the wide ones out to some of the first kit purchasers.
Let’s see the kinwald
worlds car next
Re release the reedy modified ultra motors to put in these retro builds.
I know it's stupid, but I really miss the "grab a sandwich, and let's begin..." line in the manual 😅
great truck. other companies at the time could have made narrow wheels/tyers instead of complaining
