Thank you for making this! This is a period of Disney history that the company would like everyone to forget. The only thing I would change is that animators are still being exploited and mistreated despite overall better working conditions, so there is still reason to keep the fight going.
Hey! I’m from valley view high school and saw that this video was made for national history day which I am doing as well in group performance. I was wondering if you still happened to have your source list and if you were able to share that (like in a link) it would be a huge help to us for competition
@@trinityjackson3379 hello! Sorry to bother I am also competing in National History Day. The link doesn't seem to be working anymore. It would be extremely helpful if we were able to access your bib. Thank you!
And that's not the worst. After more than a decade of great animated films (89 to 02), Disney gutted out the 2D animation divisions in favor for CGI. That's the one sin I can't forgive.
@@FrizFreddy1994 To be extremely fair, they tried 2D films again but those barely broke even. I don't think that there are many companies who would keep and extreme large and expensive department just because a few fans have rosey memories of 2D Disney films.

As much as I look up to Walt Disney, he really deserved the flac that he got during the strike.
To this day Disney still exploits their workers in animation.
