Thanks for the video, it was helpful you showed us the various bags from the kit with the labels because it helps knowing which o-ring to use. They should really package everything in individual bags with part list numbers
Thank you for making this. Much more comprehensive than the PDF guide from RockShox (that seems to have bits missing and/or repeated pages!). Cheers from UK :-)
Thanks for the video. I really appreciate it! keep it up! If I may suggest, please avoid the "zoom in zoom out" transition in you tutorial. It's kinda make some viewers dizzy because of it.
Removing the metal retension clip at 7:20 is tricky. Plus the manual says to not scratch inside the cylinder with your picks. Good luck with that. What helped me finally (after scratching the cylinder) is to push the the two ends (the clip isn't a full ring) all the way down as far as you can. Both ends of the clip. And then the opposite side will pop out of its groove. This also requires that you pushed the valve cover far enough down with your thumb. (The step before removing the clip in the manual)
I wish I had read this earlier. I scratched the hell out of mine by using 2 flat heads. One tip of each flat head at the end of the open C doing Cris-cross with the 2 flat heads and pryed the tips off 1 by 1

Hey! I’ve followed the video from the beginning to rebuilt my shock but it looses more air than before the rebuilt. Approximately 30 minutes of air before it goes out. Any idea where I messed up?

Ehi Jack, honestly it's difficult to help you without pictures or so, what exploded exactly? if something like that happened probably something was not in the right place or locked properly, i would say
Hi! Thank you for this video, very helpful! My shock seems to be leaking oil around the adjustments (rebound and compression knobs). Is it possible to have put too much oil in the air chamber? I see some oil on the shaft as well, but i suppose that is normal. Or is it time for a full rebuild? Thank you, really appreciate your work!
You are welcome Alexandru 🤝🏻 Should not be normal to see oil on the adjustment knobs, could be that is too much on the air chamber! On the shaft should be normal but only if it is not too much! I will honestly check only the air chamber in your case 👌🏻
