Congrats on the collab, and thanks for putting this together! This makes going through the (literally) hundreds of options for MotionVFX plugins out there a lot more manageable. Also, one time fee instead of recurring costs are a huge plus.
Awesome Peter. I am now a camera gear head lol. Got my A7iv and 24-70 gmii 2.8 arriving tomorrow. My A7C is ok but I want something closer to the a7s3. I am trying to learn premiere pro but this just makes me wanna go back to fcp. On my 16" macbook pro m1 max fcp is easy work. Lovely video. I'm going to buy your luts and this package
Great video! There is something to be said about FCP/Motion and Motion VFX plugins like mO2, mFlare, mTracker, which let the filmmaker/editor stay in their creative lane without feeling like they are changing lanes to learn compositing in After Effects or Fusion. It feels natural editing in FCP and incorporating mvfx tools for tracking, masking, or fx work. The learning curve is incredibly fast due to their awesome tutorials.
Peter, thank you for helping me with another way to spend my paycheck😉. Keep up the excellent work and inspiring all of us. Peace and Safe Travels -Craig
Always great when a new PL video drops! Have seen the MotionArray add on RUclips, it is actually a great add, shows exactly what you can do and where you can use it.
Oh wow! I just purchased my 1st group of plugins yesterday and cinema titles is a must have! Like you mentioned, being able to buy and own right away is the best 🆚 monthly/annual subscription. Congratulations Bro and thanks so much for sharing 💪🏽💯
Thank you for sharing this, I will save this for later when I have the fund to buy them all! Cool side info that you done video work for Dead by April btw 😀
Love me some FCPX plugins….just got a new MacBook Pro M1 today…..I might have to upgrade some of my plugins to work with my M1 hmmmm…… Great video as always bro!
Can I please get your opinion on something? I've seen so many people rave about how amazing the Sony G master 24mm wide angle lens is, but I don't recall seeing anyone talk about the G master 35mm. And I have a feeling a 35mm is going to work better for my needs. I just got my A7IV and want to get a really good lens, but it's going to be my only really good lens for the time being so I want to make sure it's going to be versatile enough for what I need. I get occasional paid gigs doing birthday parties, family photos, etc. but I don't go searching for jobs so it's pretty rare. My main need is to start filming music videos for my own music. Can I get away with using the 24mm to do all my performance shots and b roll for rap music videos? Or am I right that a 35mm would do way better? And have you heard anything on the 35mm G master? It's just as expensive as the 24mm, so I'm hoping it is just as good. Thanks!
@@PeterLindgren1 I’ve actually never had a 24mm or 35mm, so I’m not sure which is going to be better. I’ve been waiting to record my videos until I knew I’d have the final version of the songs. I’ve used my recordings on my cheaper interface as practice mixing and mastering. I just was able to save up for a UAD Apollo interface so I know I’m not getting anything better. What I record now are going to be my final versions so I can. start filming the videos.
@@PeterLindgren1 ah okay thanks I’ll search. I’ve probably watched it before but my memory is terrible ! Thanks again. Keep up the good work. When’s the big reveal of your latest studio space ?
yay, he’s back! Thought you had drowned in the mountain of insulation next door, or gotten so caught up in the build that you actually forgot you also have a couple of youtube-channels to run ;)
Still a lot of bugs with this software and M1 mac’s. Items that are supposed to be supported are buggy as hell. I reached out to the company but got a “we’re doing the best we can” response. I want to like this company but I just don’t trust dumping anymore money into them when I can’t guarantee their products will work. It’s frustrating to spend hours editing for the products to initially work, then when you go and replay it you get the red screen of death for the plug-in.
Can you please tell me where you get your SFX that you use in conjunction with your callouts? I've looked for those you use and others. I fell in love with the SFX that they are using on UFC fights which are similar to the ones you use. I don't know the name of them. They are kinda that futuristic computer data like ordeal. All I know is I want them so that I can use them in my videos as well. Thanks I appreciate your help in this matter.
@@PeterLindgren1 Thanks I’m going through their catalog looking now. Haven’t come across it yet but I’m searching. That SFX is really taking off I noticed it again while watching the UFC fight last night too. Question if I sign up for Artlist and use their SFX or music is that downloaded and saved into my FCPX program for good or just while I have a active subscription to Artlist? 🤔

Thanks dude 🤩 excited to try out all of these plugins 🤓
cool thumbnail peter!
I see in the description, you mentioned you use Color Finale. Do you still use it? Mine broke with the latest FCPX update

Excellent Video. Very Interesting. Thank You Peter.
I love motionvxf! But it is kind of expencive if you want ‘em all..
But they're the best you can get, no doubt!
I still use some that i bought back in 2019!
Have they gotten mHUD 3 silicon ready because I purchased it 18 months ago and have never been able to use it on my M1?
Unfortunately not, I’m waiting for that too!
@@PeterLindgren1 So frustrating because I just love their MyJourney plug in, you've inspired me to purchase a few more but!
Awesome ! Thanks!
Grymt jobbat mannen! :) Hade vart mäktigt o svänga förbi din el studio nån gång på en coffee! :)
What type of plug-in would be used to have a video inside of a video.
Useful Fcp X plugins
Wow that's really awesome! Will these plug-ins also work with Davinci Resolve as well? I am super pumped to try these out!✌️
Not all of them are for both
Do you know if any of these are applicable to 360 Videos?
Thank you for this video! Is there a reason you use Mtitle Cinematic 1 over Mtitle Cinematic 2? Im torn between the two!
You’re welcome! I think it has a better look on the titles than the first 👌🏼
Great!!!Thank you!!!
In mtracker my texts always move with the shots, do you have a solution or tutorial for that?
One of the best thing about dude is that he never takes credit for himself ❣️❣️keep growing bro...
All the best

I don’t have the 35 nor do I like the focal length that much. as long as you find the lens that suits you the best it doesn’t really matter!

This is crazy man 450$ USD, this is insane the pluggin is more expensive that Final Cut Pro.
Plug-ins, it’s not one 👍🏼
Would be good to see a more in-depth tutorial using m tracker and hud
I’ve already made a tutorial on Mtracker 👍🏼😊

Went to your essential plugins link but i can't see mHUD and mTracker3d plugins on your list.
Should be in the advanced pack!
I'm going to assume, these only work with FCP?
Some might work on da Vinci, but FCPX is what they’re optimised for!

Sad to hear that. Personally i've had no issues with it!

interesting how a pack of plugins costs more than a FCPX license. Not saying they might be not worth it, just awkward
