Do conservative christian groups like the fanatic pentacostalists for example, allow their children to date or seek personal sexual choices before their "holy matrimony" ? Do they allow live-in relationships. If yes . So this contradiction and confusion do exist right ? What about the Amish, Hutterites and Mennonite communities in America? What about in the Fundamentalist Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-Day Saints (FLDS) Mormon communities? And all the other such similar extremely fanatic conservative communities and cults that live in America which regard sex as a terrible sin. These are groups which are very old American communities in all respects unlike the recent outsiders and new settlers like Hindus and Muslims.

Being an Indian my advice to our folks is that be who you are but remember that you are in the US try to assimilate with the culture there but do not give up your trueself . Back here in India we are a collective society we believe in the concept of families. Generally in Asia Individualism is not common families support each other hence people live with their children till their last moment .Despite of having many poor folks here too the nos. Of homeless people are still less then the US because of the firm family system here which is on some way is contrasting to the culture of US. I didn't get a chance to study in US as i studied in France back in 2007 for my MS. Since then, i have primarily lived in EU, Africa, Singapore and now i live in Moscow. I always had one self-rule which is i always tried to mingle with non-Indians as my logic was and still is, "If i have to be all the time with Indians even after coming out of India, then i should not have left India". This is our biggest drawback which i personally always disliked. I still speak with Indian accent with a very little British touch as i primarily worked in this part of the world. I was a bit shy when i was in France but since Spain and South Africa, i had no problems in meeting women for flirting or having fun, be it White or Black. What is my exceptional strong point, my extrovert nature and strong communication skills, which has always helped in making connections even when i sometimes i do not speak the language fluently. Like currently i live in Moscow and man i am amongst the BEST-LOOKING women in the whole world and dark skin works like a charm amongst beautiful Russian women 😜

I’m biracial and I prefer Indian men over any other, I am attracted to non American men and brown men. Indian men are kind, cultured and tend to be educated yet humble. I learn stuff when I talk to them and I like their mindset and all of that is interesting. Being brown myself I don’t prefer white men or the typical arrogant and superficiality of American men that they are generally known for.

I broadly agree with what this guy says. the other thing that plays a role is that, in contrast to America, there are many single sex schools in India. I went to a boys only school in India during the first two years of my primary school education. our family emigrated to the netherlands when I was 7 years old. in my opinion, if I would have stayed in India, and continued to attend the boys only school until I finished my secondary education, I would have been a lot more shy with women than I turned out to be because I grew up in the netherlands. I'm still more shy than an average native Dutchman. but I'm convinced that I would be even more shy than i turned out to be.

However, It's becoming more and more common to see Indian men with dutch women. I live near a town called eindhoven, which has a technical university and is home to Philips electronics. There's also asml, a company that produces machines which are used in the semiconductor industry. There are many Indians working there as well. Basically, these towns are like the silicon valley of the netherlands. And the Indians that work for Philips or asml tend to have well paid jobs, with a large level of job security. At least some Indian men are not interested in arranged marriage, and prefer to find their own partners. And at least some of these men succeed.

That sounds terrible, sorry you went through that. I can’t speak for the men in India because I haven’t been there but the ones in America are rarely that bad. However some Indian men do seem to see dating as not about making the woman want you but more like something you get out of persistence and being aggressive. I've grown up with Indian girls, Arabs etc and I've seen indian observed some races struggle more than others... I ended up convincing him to date her and they spent 5 years together... Last I spoke to him he was "open" to "dating different hair colors and races" (his exact words)... I find Indian guys do comparatively better in America than in the UK or Australia. American girls seem more open-minded and willing to give them a chance rather than writing them off. A lot of Indian guys from other Western countries find they have a lot more success in the US. Of course, the best place for Indian guys is Eastern Europe. Latin America isn't terrible either as less negative stereotypes exist there.

Dating for American men is not getting better either, it's getting worse by every passing year. All of my friends are struggling, either with dating or marriage. Many of them had their lives completely ruined because of divorce, especially men. Those who manage to survive, are forced to marry up single mothers with 3 kids from 3 different men. People are now realizing "dating" is a scam (which actually is). Now many of them are talking about matchmakers and even arranged marriages. People are waking up to the fact that there is a thing called "pair bonding capability" which degrades as you date more people, that eventually results into instability in the marriage. Maybe arranged marriage is not "progressive", but at the end of the day, a lasting, stable relationship is all that matters. Those "social skills", "being extrovert" are all vapid buzzwords that do not serve any real life purpose (except pulling some chicks). I think Indians got this thing right, you work on your career, get married, then "socialize" as much as you want with your extended families and friends, simple as.
You are totally right. As an indian guy, born and raised in india, and now i am in the USA, I got my sexy, intelligent, and feminine Caribbean latina for my whole life. I disagree. Times have changed- the dusky, Indian boy look is gaining poularity in the mainstream. Dev Patel, Kunal Nayyar, Hasan Minhaj etc..are sexy because they're different. as an indian this is spot on, i've experienced all of this, when i was in my early twenties, i was fit, used to work out a lot, travelled a lot has interesting hoppies and i was easy with girls! Later with some injuries i gained around 20 kilos, stopped working out etc. it immediately switched and it was hard getting girls (also because i was in a 3 year relationship and i stopped using dating apps) so you, being indian is definitly not easy (i'm form europe and i know it's even harder here than in the US as an indian) but other things matter and if you work hard you can find girls.

A decade ago in Manhattan, it was unheard of to see Indian guys with hot white girls or hot girls of other races in general. Around 2014, it started to change in a massive way. Granted these guys are mostly younger, fresh out of college, and very white-washed (often much better looking than the stereotype). Most educated and wealthier American women are used to being around Asians and Indians that don't fit the stereotype and Manhattan is full of college-educated women that often went to good schools and have a great career. Asian and Indian dudes flat out slay now in Manhattan if they are well put together, same for Brooklyn. There are 1.5 billion people in India and it's only expected to grow with multiple skin colours and facial features. So we already have too many options in our own country. As a SA woman I will tell you the real reason why South Asian guys are off putting to western women, it is because you are from a different culture but not in the way that this guy is saying. Back here in India we are a collective society we believe in the concept of families. Generally in Asia Individualism is not common families support each other hence people live with their children till their last moment .Despite of having many poor folks here too the nos. Of homeless people are still less then the US because of the firm family system here which is on some way is contrasting to the culture of US. I didn't get a chance to study in US as i studied in France back in 2007 for my MS. Since then, i have primarily lived in EU, Africa, Singapore and now i live in Moscow. I always had one self-rule which is i always tried to mingle with non-Indians as my logic was and still is, "If i have to be all the time with Indians even after coming out of India, then i should not have left India". This is our biggest drawback which i personally always disliked. I still speak with Indian accent with a very little British touch as i primarily worked in this part of the world. I was a bit shy when i was in France but since Spain and South Africa, i had no problems in meeting women for flirting or having fun, be it White or Black. What is my exceptional strong point, my extrovert nature and strong communication skills, which has always helped in making connections even when i sometimes i do not speak the language fluently. Like currently i live in Moscow and man i am amongst the BEST-LOOKING women in the whole world and dark skin works like a charm amongst beautiful Russian women 😜

I broadly agree with what this guy says. the other thing that plays a role is that, in contrast to America, there are many single sex schools in India. I went to a boys only school in India during the first two years of my primary school education. our family emigrated to the netherlands when I was 7 years old. in my opinion, if I would have stayed in India, and continued to attend the boys only school until I finished my secondary education, I would have been a lot more shy with women than I turned out to be because I grew up in the netherlands. I'm still more shy than an average native Dutchman. but I'm convinced that I would be even more shy than i turned out to be.

There's also asml, a company that produces machines which are used in the semiconductor industry. There are many Indians working there as well. Basically, these towns are like the silicon valley of the netherlands. And the Indians that work for Philips or asml tend to have well paid jobs, with a large level of job security. At least some Indian men are not interested in arranged marriage, and prefer to find their own partners. And at least some of these men succeed.

I can’t speak for the men in India because I haven’t been there but the ones in America are rarely that bad. However some Indian men do seem to see dating as not about making the woman want you but more like something you get out of persistence and being aggressive.

I think Indians got this thing right, you work on your career, get married, then "socialize" as much as you want with your extended families and friends, simple as.

as an indian this is spot on, i've experienced all of this, when i was in my early twenties, i was fit, used to work out a lot, travelled a lot has interesting hoppies and i was easy with girls! Later with some injuries i gained around 20 kilos, stopped working out etc. it immediately switched and it was hard getting girls (also because i was in a 3 year relationship and i stopped using dating apps) so you, being indian is definitly not easy (i'm form europe and i know it's even harder here than in the US as an indian) but other things matter and if you work hard you can find girls.

A decade ago in Manhattan, it was unheard of to see Indian guys with hot white girls or hot girls of other races in general. Around 2014, it started to change in a massive way. Granted these guys are mostly younger, fresh out of college, and very white-washed (often much better looking than the stereotype). Most educated and wealthier American women are used to being around Asians and Indians that don't fit the stereotype and Manhattan is full of college-educated women that often went to good schools and have a great career.

There are 1.5 billion people in India and it's only expected to grow with multiple skin colours and facial features.
So we already have too many options in our own country. We don't have to look anywhere else.
I understand that if you as an Indian are born and already a citizen of a western country then you have to adhere to their cultural norms in order to fit in.
But in such a scenerio we Indians living in India as Indian citizens don't even consider you as our own and don't even care what is our image in western or global dating market.

I am an Indian been in US for 25 years. I am very Indian in my interests, I have dated several white women. Yes No Maybe girls, identify them, I am Indian and moved to LA in 2015, and I have had the most success with Eastern European, Middle Eastern, Persian, Armenian, and Latina women, and the least success with Indian women(0 tbh). It's wild. The funny thing is I have been approached by some white women at Whole Foods/ Sprouts etc. Also, I have never used Dating Apps. Based on experience, I have had 0 issues with Gen Z white women, I only have problems with 9/10s that party at Aspen/ Miami/ Ibiza etc. All of those can be solved with social proof, need to upgrade finances to date those tier women.

There was this indian guy, he said he was from the UK going back to india on vacation with a connecting flight in the philippines, he said he wants to stay a few days in Manila. As a SA woman I will tell you the real reason why South Asian guys are off putting to western women, it is because you are from a different culture but not in the way that this guy is saying. Its because in our culture everyone is raised with mentality that they should not date and they should mostly only get married to the person their parent chooses or approves of in the community. This means that SA men and women do not have any realistic example of how to act when trying to approach people sexually or romantically on your own accord. Men in SA cultures also benefit from a high level of patriarchy in a place where parents will be upset if their child turns out to be a girl and in some cases even abort the fetus if they find out early enough. This causes men to grow up with this slimy entitlement which is really disgusting and off-putting.
All of this being said I will give two pieces of advise: learn to be confident in who you are! Be proud of your culture don't let some firangi guy on the internet tell you that your thick accent is unappealing. That one bald guy with a thick accent that he talks about who was able to score a threesome probably had these qualities! Learn to develop your personality, your interests and your zest for life people will automatically be attracted to you! You are totally worthy of pulling women who love you for you not women with racist biases who will judge you for having a thick accent.
Second advice, and this is very important, educate yourself about sexism in your community and work to unlearn your own biases, nothing to be ashamed of! We grow up in a fucked world and so all of us will take on some fucked qualities. Learn to listen to women, nothing sexier than a man who can listen to a woman, and learn about contest.
