Haywire should have come out in America and been heavily promoted. Like Glass Tiger and Honeymoon Suite they had razor sharp lyrics, great songs, and were amazing musicians. As sad as their lyrics are they are at least being honest about how terribly wrong most relationships end up going. I have bitter feelings about a lot of people and love them at the same time and can't get them out of my head. "Black and blue colors of love pain that we live for" is so true. Wouldn't you know it a lot of them are Canadians like Haywire! Great country for everything.

My ex brother in law almost became their drummer back in 1986 when they were just starting up, their regular drummer had gotten sick and my sister and her then fiancé went to see them perform in Fredericton New Brunswick and the lead singer asked if there was anyone that knew how to play the drums well, my sister pushed him on stage and he played with them all that night. He was asked if he could go with them but had to turn it down because my sister was pregnant. A true story I’ll never forget, love this band!
