What I'm trying to say does your router give Admin reggi and connection to your console if not that's why it doesn't show u factory default
Mine says factory default and I tried this all the exact same steps but it don't work

im not sure but it might mean your xbox is bricked but u can try to re-enter your internet password cuz that worked for me

McMellon mine worked i just had to switch between automatic and manual like 3 or 4 times and then i went to advanced and went to factory settings and tried to connect to my wifi again and it work for me and now my xbox is updating :)

For anyone who is having this issue....if you are doing wireless then you need to get the Black two attena Wireless Adapter. Xbox 360 internal wireless cannot Run with todays current wifi/internet. it works with the wireless adapter though.

If you can borrow a new Xbox like a series s you can change the port selection and it will work bro if not you can call your wifi provider and ask them to do it for you.i literally just got mine connected if you need help just comment back a couple times I'll leave RUclips notifications on cause I was offline on 360 for a year and boom I'm back lol.
