Dont care what anyone else says...Def Leppard is simply one of the greatest bands of friggin all TIME! Maybe not THE best...but DEFINITELY in the top 10. And with so many amazing bands throughout history...that is saying a lot. The talent level and showmanship are just top notch exceptional. Unmistakeable sound...timeless songs that never get old and still hold up today. Ive seen them 3 times live in my lifetime and they were absolutely phenominal everytime.
What rick Allen can do with one arm just blows my mind amazing.
I saw Def Leppard in 1983, when Rick Allen still had 2 arms. Phil Collen gave me a guitar pick - stainless steel !It was Gary Moore, Krokus, and Def Leppard. What a show !!!Always loved their albums, but Joe Elliott is not a good singer live.

Disagree. He must have had an off night. I have seen them numerous times and Joe has always been amazing. Of course now his range isn’t the same, but he still kills it. That is expected as a singer ages though.

Again, “On Through the Night” is their BEST album.

Frank Bailey Steve Clark was such a great musician and a great person. So much talent taken way too early! The damned drugs take all the good ones away. I’ve been in a methadone program for nearly two years and it is still difficult to get through some days. Please kids, don’t even start using drugs or booze to take the pain away, it might feel great at first but your problems are still going to be there and possibly grow after you’ve come down. If you are an addict then please seek help because you’re going to end up in prison or like Mr Clark, dead.

Def Leppard is one of those bands that has a timeless moment attached - a lot of people will never forget where they were and what they were doing the first time you heard Pyromania. The earlier albums are great - some say even better. but or me it was Pyromania that I'll never forget.
Photograph was the first song i heard.Saw them live in Glasgow during Hysteria tour.Jeff Healy live was something special.Twice for him.Standing on a chair playing the strings with his teeth.Best vocalists live i would still say Wilson sisters from Heart.Absolute classic rock usually on at some point during the day.Grew up listening to Led Zep,Queen,The Clash,Elvis Costello.Wife's first concert with me was Alannah Miles supporting Robert Plant.
Love you all so much and I especially love the captains logs with you they are so much fun . I've loved you all forever and as I've said before I start my day off everyday listening to your songs and I'll never grow up im 75 years young the oldest teenager I know and I know you won't either. You guys are Rock Stars or Punk Rockers and finally made it to the music hall of fame, whatever it's called. Pyromania was my first vinyl record I listened to and my daughter and I were hooked. Hysteria was one of the best and the songs just kept getting better and better. Thank you for years of great songs, from fans in Houston, Texas, USA!

Wow, loved hearing him say they did "Paper Sun". That song is off of their Euphoria album and I think that album is one of the best they ever did. It came out in 1999 and didn't get a lot of radio play but it has some great songs on it (Promises, Paper Sun, Day After Day). Give it a listen and you will not be disappointed.
Agreed. Very underrated album. Like all their greatest albums, the songs hook you instantly even without radio play. Def leppard X also has songs that are very bit as good as the Hysteria album. Ballads like long long way to go, or Unbelievable are first rate.

Took my wife for our anniversary and my best friend for his birthday on Friday night. The show was incredible! The 4th time that I've seen them, but differently the best ever. Long live the Leppard's.

My uncle lived in England for most of the 70s...and even claims to have _allegedly_ seen Atomic Mass perform live at a certain pub...way back in the days of Nicky Mackley and Pete Doubleday...early 77' I think he said. I have loved Def Leppard since their On Through The Night LP...and I haven't looked back- They absolutely dominated New Wave British Metal late 70s, early 80s..which was perfect timing for me and my generation. They broke the spell cast by all the disco my parents and babysitters were playing all the time. My father bought me 3 albums for my 12th bday back in Feb of 1981: Def Leppard - High 'N Dry...AC-DC - For Those About to Rock and Pink Floyd - The Wall. But Def Leppard took the cake. They molded my youth and there hasn't another band before or since with their unique sound. Thanks for being there in my darkest and greatest moments!! Great band!

Saw them when they opened for Billy Squier in 1983. Sorry Billy you got BLOWN off the stage. They opened with Rock rock til you drop.

I hear ya, Joe, on the very dry air! It’s a killer! I get sick nearly every time I go to Vegas because of it. Saline nose spray, cough drops, ointment for the inside of your nostrils, thorough hydration (with water, not booze) and a humidifier in your room are key to surviving it!!

I've seen them in five concerts.
Went to the show last night and its was fantastic, the band didn't miss a note the whole evening. They performed several acoustic numbers in the middle of the show that IMHO were 2x price of admission.
