@@DragonM109R that you often need an older generations mindset to truly get/enjoy the humor of... i have seen people get offended that somebody sent their wife/daughter/son/etc looking for blinker fluid and other items they dont actually make... i mean watching them get upset at the mean joke... that... anybody who paid any attention to cars/auto/bikes/etc would go "thats fake as hell" .. eg... blinker fluid...
a buddy of mine worked at a shop where that became so common they re-branded their own window cleaner and called it "blinker fluid" and charged a nice markup... a few guys came in mad, most came in to share the laugh...
but today you tell stories about jokes like that... and even if you are the sucker who fell for it, people get mad/upset at how mean the joke was... o.O

I would highly recommend people to watch your videos not just to learn about bikes but how to drive them safely.
You guys generally drive within the local speed limits and drive defensively when it comes to other vehicles.
Keep up the good work as there are other U-Tubers on here that speed , drive between two lanes of cars and ride in the wrong lanes and laugh about what laws they are breaking.
Thanks guys for the good display of bike riding !
Oh and your little passages from the Bible are Ok !

Check out Fire Aero. It was made in California and worked on this same principle. The complete motorcycle minus the front forks docked into a custom frame with a VW beetle front end, widened by 6 inches. Any Japanese 4 cylinder motorcycle would work. The company would build the appropriate frame to fit the motorcycle in question. Those things were fast and handled like it was on rails. I visited the builder in Ca., and went for a spin. Awesome!!

Find a reed valve 80's 250cc 2 stroke dirtbike or the back of a Banshee 4wheeler, anything 2-stroke. Reed valves are the best:top end rebuild 3-5 layers of pop can. They are explosion processing harmonicas.

Vulcan 2000 V-twin low rpm so its not screaming in your ear, boat loads of low end torque to get you started and water cooling at least the heads. I have something like this, it has a v65 Magna plugged in the back. Its water cooled so over heating isn't a issue but the high revving engine is like nails on a chalk board. and it's right in your ear. A big low RPM motor will be a lot more relaxing to cruse in. And just so you know people will come up to chat every time you stop. Just a thought. Enjoy!!!!!!!

  • @grundle5322

In the 80’s (maybe early 90’s), Popular Mechanics published the plans to build a “Magnum”. You used the front end of an old VW bug and the rear/engine of a Honda gold wing (72-73 was preferred then due to their automatic transmissions). If you did it right, you could build a trike from the remaining parts.
My grandfather built one. I got to drive it, sitting on ply-wood, steering with a metal bar that he shoved through the steering column, while he controlled the throttle with a pair of vice-grips 😂 Everyone thought he was crazy… now you buy one from a dealership.

You see so many ultra lightweight kit cars and track day cars with 'busa engines. That's probably your easiest option but why not go for something completely different- see if you can find an old wrecked vmax as an engine donor or maybe (if you can find one) turbo a bandit 1200 engine for a shed load of torque.

  • @ProDigit80
    @ProDigit80 3 года назад

With a Honda CB 250 / Honda Rebel 250, you'll be able to go 45-50MPH perhaps.
Put a twin 500cc engine, and the top speed is closer to 75-80MPH.
If you want it to be road worthy on interstates, you'll need at least a 750cc.
If you don't want to die in it, perhaps a 250 is more than enough.
A suzuki tu 250x has the most simple and small 250 engine around. Not a lot of power, but can be extremely fuel efficient!

The body was totally hand built using fiberglass. The plans were so detailed and simple Steve Wonder and Forest Gump could have built this thing. I never got around to building the thing because life kept me too busy and broke. But I still have the plans. Maybe one day now that I've retired.

OK, maybe the design (shape), but I was using thin wood or metal squares in Arizona back in the '70s to keep my 750 BMW R75/5 and Honda 750 upright in the summer sun. I'm currently riding a Suzuki S40 Savage... 650 cc single..... 1/2 a cruiser when compared to my previous bike, a '92 Suzuki Intruder VL1500W. Both excellent machines. Stick a 650 single in your T-Rex.... or, for some real torque, that v-twin LS1500 engine was superb.

From someone who lives in northern jersey. You really went up there to get it. I can relate to the comic book artists. Had a sub teacher who drew for HeMan

The steering looks a bit loose & the frame connections well, mmm. so if your going for an engine upgrade I’d keep it more cruiser than speed freak but an old school Honda or Kawasaki 750? but I’m sure you might be thinking of some other upgrades that may let you go more modern & faster. but it would be cool to go full custom with big engine & fat back wheel. Lol get the welder out & see what happens!!
