Original key was E, this I believe is in B. As good a voices they have, I don’t think they can carry the same key. Looks like a bit of rearranging but still is great
Actually the original key was A flat and this is still in the same key so kudos to Colin and the band for still being able to sing like that after all these years!
@@kirkdonnelly6450 What do you mean “sit down”. They were inducted into the Rock and Roll Hall of Fame, of course they would perform and this goes for anyone. L opinion
Wow ! So amazing , a timeless tune that will outlive this planet. These guys have not lost a beat. I was about three when they wrote this tune. They continue to impress me. And the lead singer actually sounds more passionate 60 years later. They are incredible !!
What an incredibly talented group!!! I am so glad that at king last they are being inducted into the “Rock & Roll Hall of Fame”, at king last getting the amazing recognition that they so richly deserve. Their music was always fun & uplifting & I so loved their music as a teenager! I am so happy that they were, at king lasted inducted into The Rock & Roll Hall of Fame! Congratulations 🎉 to them!❤️
Just saw them in Winnipeg. They are better and stronger than ever.Colin’s vocals were amazing as was Rod on the Hammond. They performed extended versions of She’s not There and Hold your Head up.The crowd went nuts
yes the only one not here is Paul Atkinson. Sadly he passed away some time ago. Jim Rodford also left us before the band is inducted. Colin Blunstone still sound as smooth as silk despite having loss some of that control when he was younger. Colin is still one of the finest rock singers of all time.
What a complete treat this is to see my beloved 60s Zombies, ive been in love with them since their beginning , thats a long time to be in love,, what a bunch of genius guys lol xx
Will forever envy all you lucky people who experienced this wonderful era of music ❤️ I’m eternally grateful that my parents passed their good taste down to my sister and I.
1964 - to now. Colin still sounds like he did back then. Love this song and She's not there. Like Jay Siegal of The Tokens & Cliff Richard ( Sir) he sings them in the original key and time stands still.
I read years ago that Jeff Lynne, already a producer in demand, was producing a Roy Orbison “comeback” album. That led to his vision of the Fabulous “Traveling Wilbury’s”🎶🎸🎉
I too loved “THE ZOOMBIES!” They sure “could rock”, as you stated! How right you are! Great music from an extraordinary group!!!!” Congratulations to “The Zombies” on being inducted into “THE ROCK & ROLL HALL OF FAME!”

wow 55 years later and still true to the original version...same key , this is just awesome

As with most or many live performances, if you listen to original recordings, there were a few variations with these older performers.
And they're all having such a great time!!
@@philam1973 This version still in E like the original studio version.
The lead singer and the entire band still sound great after all these years
I disagree. He really needs to sit down !!!!!!!! great band, but hey ITS OVER. !!! THERE is a time when enough is enough. And its. NOW !!

I'm going to have to disagree with you Donnelly.
@@Czech_Chaser Exactly. even if I sounded like shit it's the hall of fame. one last time.
Colin Blunstone.
Still gives me the chills even after all these years. Gets my vote for the most beautiful rock song of all time.
Colin Blunstone... You are a vocal God my friend....
If I were a young person today i would die of embarrassment that these grandpas can rock and sing better than them.
Couldn’t have said it better myself
Theyre not just grandpas theyre the zombies
Zombies and their music were way ahead of their time
One of their greatest songs
Correct.
Wow, just wow. Dying at how well they pulled this off. One of the great ballads of the era
The Zombies. I love them. This song is soooooo beautiful. Thank you guys, you made the 60's rock.
Absolutely incredible. They still got it
Loved hearing this - my generation of music, so incredible to hear them in this performance!
One of the greatest British Invasion bands. Magnificent history of great rock music. I never miss them when they come to town.

King - A - Right!!!
Young, naive and foolish love. The mood, the tone, just perfect. And even though the singer messed up one of the lines they still released the take.
This,to me is one of the songs of the 60's -- brilliant !
!
so much respect Colin
What an underrated performance!
My favorite song by The Zombies.
Bravo ⚘ Congratulations
I love the Zombies. Great music for generations, and future generations.
His voice will forever stay the same

I can't think of any three singles of this era than Time of the Season, Tell Her no, and She's not there and they still sound great.
They were a bit before my time but these fellas certainly earned their place among the greats.
They had some great songs!💖
My favorite record for that year and still lovin’ the zombies

Hairs on my neck standing up. Just..damn. Such a great group. Came out the year I was born. Soundtrack to your life? You betcha 😊

Ladies and gentlemen, Mr. Colin Edward Michael Blunstone.
well..Wow.. the band sounded really tight
These new karaoke bands today, watch and listen to the Zombies and learn.
Why 2019? Should be here many years ago... but glad they made it.
wow original key
I always thought their live stuff was infinitely better than the recorded versions of their songs
🌸
Better than their original because they are better musicians now and also more mature .
Colin channels Arthur Brown at 1:17...
Unbelievable
They played this song until it melted in the dj booth when it came out why do I still. Know the words?
Was that Paul Shaefer?
If anyone asks you who's better than the Beatles, point them here.
👏🏼👏🏼👏🏼👏🏼👏🏼
Colin still has IT
I really wanna know the chords and shapes the guitarist is playing. Anybody?
Check out Rocksmith. This song is well charted on there. I just got 100%.
