Reduction in noise might be pad dependent also. But the scratchy sound from grinding on ptfe dust = gone. My Akari is very silent with these skates. Better control, no big reduction in speed. They feel great
Unfortunately, I pay almost double their value just for shipping to Europe. Something that can fit in a padded envelope. Seems like I must wait and see if they'll ever be available on amazon.
It's about time we saw some experimentation with different plastics. Seeing stuff like POK, UPE, LY, and all the other smooth plastics used in keyboard switches made me wonder when mouse skates are gonna follow suit eventually.
I was disapointed by the durability of hardened PTFE Skates (Obsidians). I really like the durability of the obsidian Pro but they are too slow for my taste on the wraith esport v2 control. I hope these will be perfect, can't wait to grab some on maxgaming.
Hell yeah they are finally listed on one of the two reseller i can buy from in EU (maxesport), it's weird they already have it listed and ready to ship compared to maxgaming (usually it's the european leader who gets everything first). I ordered two pack today (14,90 euros each...) and a friend who has NEVER changed his GPX Superlight (v1) since the release also ordered 2 pack today😱. Finally after all this years of trying to persuade him. He will also change his mice and his mousepad (the only things he purchased after listening to me was a MPC 450...), don't worry he will not use them on the old GPX and the MPC 450, the next step is a glass pad and a new mice. For the glass pad i'm sure at 99,99% that he will purchase a SP-004 and he also want a Ninjutso Sora V2 (i have the Sora 4K so it's all because of me, i talked to much about it :p) but idk why it is not on maxesport or maxgaming but only on the ninjutso website and with the price in USD we don't know if he can purchase it in EU with VAT inclued and without customs duties :S. Anyone know if the Sora v2 will be available soon on maxgaming or maxesport or if it's ok to buy it on the ninjutso website in EU ? Also tried to convince him to buy a OP1 8K and sent it back to maxesport if he doesn't like it (because it's fast and easy to get a return / refund in the first 30 days after receiving it from our country) but even if i told him the cable will not bother him at all with a pulsar micro bungee ES ed (also purchased today) / a glass pad and the cable of the OP1, it was an unsuccessful attempt. Predictable from someone who only used the stock GPX Superlight cable... it's easy to become afraid to go back to cables after so many years using a logitech one 😅, i also had one once so i can relate, when you want to play but also need to charge that mice, it's a nightmare... Maybe i will try to convince him to try the Sprime PM1 from Maxgaming (damn i also want that mice) but if he doesn't like it, it will be a whole month wasted (2 weeks to get it from maxgaming and at least 2 others to send it back...).
Im surprised you said the sound is more muted on glass with plasticx. I just got mine and they are loud as all hell on my superglide pad. Funny enough the tiger ice v2 were so much quiter.
I realized after the fact that it’s only quite muted on the Akari. I should have tested more glass pads at the time of the initial video. My fault. But the sound will become more muted over time.
@@FreshReviewsYT No worries, I think its great that we should note that these will be loud on other glass pads as an FYI, but their glide is very fast so if anyone is looking for that faster glide, but are okay with a substantially higher noise on pads like the skypad or superglide, then give it a try. Adding these notes as I am speaking from experience. Thanks for the video :)
have you tried these plastic skates on the cheng ying resin pad, and if you have how does it feel. Ive been noticing that my x2 skates have been picking up on a ton of dirt from the cheng ying.
What is your recommended IEM budget for R6 Siege? please answer i am confused want to take hexa, em6l or cinno. *For me, the sound with a rather large bass will make the sound of shots and footsteps difficult to listen to.
@@FreshReviewsYT Okay if you suggest trying EM6L but I'm waiting for your video about budget IEM Focus on R6 Siege game, do you still recommend EM6L for that? I bought this IEM I only use when playing games, I don't care about the bad sound if I use it to listen to music.
@@FreshReviewsYT Thanks, I’m gonna pick them up I think. Cant stand the grainy feeling both the obsidians get when they wear out even slightly, doesn’t go away until they smoothen out again
Hey I need a closed back headphone for competitive FPS do you think I should get Beyerdynamic DT 700 Pro X or DT 770 Pro X or any other you might suggest that are better
Great review Freshy. For the money....gonna add to my collection of unopened mice and pad products I've purchased off your reviews. At least I do use all of the iems i have (from your rec list)....WOOF!😄
Not really when you think about it. The only reason I say that is because they last much much longer on glass. Hopefully cost can come down a bit later on though by throwing more into each pack
idk man the fact that they put in exactly 12 per pack makes it even worse... I use 7 dot skates so i'd get one set of skates per pack. With obsidians you get 40 skates which is 5 sets in my case and a pack is almost half the price. So these would have to be like 8x more durable to be a similar value to me. If they put in more skates it wouldn't be as bad but I'm just going to wait for the offbrand version of this type of skate. I imagine plastic skates are a lot cheaper and easier to produce than ptfe because regular plastic is easier to mold and you don't have the problem of trying to make the least sticky material stick to something.
@@Katze822228they are that much more durable though... They scratch even less on my Skypad 3.0 and they're way more consistent from my experience with them so far.
xD Since I could only read « out of stock » on the website … Thanks for clarifying! I hope I can order that from europe withiu being absurdly expensive. Btw, @freshreviewsyt, loved to see call of duty gameplay, even though it was only a few seconds :)

did it take a while to get silent? because i heard these are quite loud/louder than others

Yeah definitely gonna cop a pack of these ASAP tomorrow morning....with code: FRESH of course.
Pok!!!
Nice just picked these up cause of your video been wanting skates that are durable on glass and always love to support a small American company
got a pair my self, loving it on my skypads. tj did a great job

Mine just arrived and theyre so loud on the sp-004 skypad, smooth but very loud and scratchy.
Reality of this product, unfortunately shilled by reviewers everywhere. Biggest flop on skates after OG superglides V1's.
Might pick some up eventually; currently using Tiger Ice V2 dots on an LGG Neptune
Finally ordered some with an aero base using code fresh. Thanks for the reviews!

gotta try these on my gamesense glass pad
These skates are better than PTFE IMO... This skate has been the most game changing material for glass surfaces for me.
Can you please review the CVJ assassin IEM for gaming
on another note, what are ur favourite skates on cloth? and dots vs full size on cloth

a bit off-topic: I see you're using the FA19 with your Topping... are you liking it more with that compared to K19?
I keep going back and forth. Hard decision

I haven’t yet but I will. I’m sure they feel great tbh
Fresh can you pls share your monitor color setting and nvidia monitor setting? Your apex gameplay looks so vibrant and crisp
Hey! Remind me to get to this for ya. Just so backed up but remind me if I don’t do it

If that’s the case for you personally, try the Em6l

Another papa Fresh banger
When you compared them to obsidians in the video did you mean the regular obsidians that are PTFE or obsidian pros that are UHMW?
Obsidians. Although i like them better than both.
@@FreshReviewsYT Thanks, I’m gonna pick them up I think. Cant stand the grainy feeling both the obsidians get when they wear out even slightly, doesn’t go away until they smoothen out again
How do they compare to xraypad obsidian?
Hella excited for these
How hard is the plastic? I'm wondering if it will scratch the glass pad the same way glass skates would
They won’t. Only a material harder in composition than glass will scratch glass. I have no scratches on any glass pad I’ve tested
and mousepad for plastix? Akari limited or Wallhack sp-004? Thanks
Either one tbh
What IEM or earphone do you recommend for valorant and music listening ? My budget is around 150~250, I’m struggling to find one 🙏🏻
Easy. Splendor II
@FreshReviewsYT How much would it be better to buy?And if I plug it directly into the computer, will it still sound good ?
If you could only have one, hype 4 or HD490?
490
Hey I need a closed back headphone for competitive FPS do you think I should get Beyerdynamic DT 700 Pro X or DT 770 Pro X or any other you might suggest that are better
Haven’t tried the 770. I’m sure it is probably better than the 700. The 900 pro x is open but has good isolation. Worth a try
@@FreshReviewsYTalrighty thank you
when will they be in stock?
I got mine from ZerkGaming yesterday, its still in stock and their shipping is quite cheap (3-4 GBP worldwide)
I believe they keep dropping new stock
@@FreshReviewsYT yep. I just bought some. I used the code too. I use a Razer sphex v3 hard pad so I think they’ll work out ok for me.
I have a pwnage stormbreaker, and this might be a silly question, but do these work on them?
Yep!

how are these to use on a textured glass pad like the esptiger lotus black?

Can’t wait
How are these compared toCyclones?
I’m just beginning to test cyclones
do we reuse them or what then? if there’s only 6
There aren’t only six. There are twelve. You would hopefully put them on a mouse you intend to leave them on.
👍
nice vid man
❤❤❤
we early boys!
Sheeeesh
these or cyclones?
I like these.
make available in SEA 😘
