I always love when Stella nerds out on color theory! I’d love for her to show us how to safely (or rather the safest way to keep the hairs integrity in tact) bleach super dark hair.
I swear by this. My hair is super dark naturally (probably a level 3) and it has the red pigment in it, yet by making sure I only bleach it once it's gone from a buzz cut to almost waist length while going through fantasy colors.
Last year I went a bit crazy when I changed from bright green to pink and back to green again 😭 colour theory out the window, it was so so so patchy I decided to go a bit darker with midnight blues and deep purples. Here's to hoping I can go another 3 months without bleaching 😋💚
You really are the queen of fashion looks. You're doing them so well, no matter the color that we can really see that you are super keen on color theory. And I still think that black mullet was bomb (you didn't show it here, but I'll always remember it vividly). But I totally get that mullets aren't everyone's cup of tea. Having one, no matter how bomb it looks, has a specific vibe and feel to it and while one likes it, another person might hate it. I personally love wearing (short) mullets (max length I like to wear is when the hair is touching the collarbone, if you're turning the head to the side) - they are one of my two fav hair styles to wear on myself (the other one is a pixie with an undercut - either pompadour style or styled into the face and very textured, like the one rihanna once had) and I'm going back and forth between the two. Which honestly is a weird transition because they are pretty much opposites but I love it.
Edit: I looked at some old pics of me before I did my drastic hair change and I don't know if it's the light but I'm inclined to think my hair is naturally a level 5. It looks like a dark brown but not close to black at all. You're further solidifying the idea I should go get my hair professionally changed as my Christmas gift. I love bright fun hair colours. The problems are two/three. My hair is naturally a deep brown. I'd say a level 4 or 3. Quite deep. Not black brown though. I feel like in natural lighting it definitely looks brown. And not some indistinguishable dark colour. So it would take a lot of bleaching and maintaining. Unless I go back to the light bottom. Or I try to blend it in. Not a full blonde but maybe if I asked for the blonde to be blended with the roots so when it grows out it doesn't look unnatural. Or like a stripe of dark brown. Second issue is I have dyed hair already. It's a vibrant red colour and it's a permanent hair dye I got at the salon. It's not box dye this time. Still it's very permanent. I use it to cover my whites. I'm half white at the age of 22. And it's a big insecurity of mine. It's not cute on me. And I like having dyed hair anyways so it's always a win-win. I get to have my whites covered in a fun colour. I've been asked by my mom if I ever want to dye my hair my natural hair colour and I said no. It's too plain and boring. If I have to dye my hair it has to be a fun bright colour or nothing. But light bright dyes sometimes make white hairs stand out more. Because they look lighter than the rest of the hair. And not in a dimensional way. They glisten like white hair does. I honestly have no idea what to do at this point. Because I also wanted to try copper hair. A more natural red shade which is still out there in my opinion compared to a deep brown. And it's in the same range as my current bright red hair. Maybe I should consult a professional and see what they can and can't do to make my hair colour journey a dream. I wouldn't mind having bright purple hair blending into dark brown.
Yeah depending on the developer it can lighten the natural colour 2 to 4 shades. If hair is already dyed it would probably try to lift the colour out a bit, but not strong enough to lift colour out let alone lighten the base colour of the hair
People who come here to assume her hair is damaged haven’t been around long enough to know she swam in the sea for days to naturally remove her hair color 😂
My hair doesn't survive after bleaching. It's a natural level 6 but because of the small thickness, hair just breaks :( i could use semi-permanent dyes but hair become super dry. Thanks for genetics and stresses.
My hair did get damaged when I didn't use Olaplex 1 in the bleaching process. I thought blonde me would be enough, and it wasn't. However, adding bleacing bath and color removing to the mix really got it to the edge... now it's really damaged. Although, I do remember I was able to keep it healthy when I bleached it at a salon and they used Olaplex 1... But this was really informative, thank you! Any recommendations on how to repair the hair?
Well, fine but if we hace¡ve natural 2 or 3 level… Please make some look for the biiiig amount we are the we want to change color without compromise our hair with any, yes i said aaaany bleache, amonia, sulfate or peroxide shit. Even from natural hair wigs…is valid for me!!. Go Stela,I’m sure that i’m not the one wishing seriesty like that. Is like dark curly hair is nice but also a.pain in the ass: bleaching it can cause loosing your pattern for a awfully long time, etc. Help us and me with your color theory mastering and endless imagination, my Maltese beauty. Love from Spain. Always watching.❤❤❤❤❤help,please.
More like a level 5! Sorry ,but I've seen her natural color and there's no way that's a level 7! Mine's naturally level 6 and it's lighter than hers. She's beautiful, so it doesn't matter what a natural color is.
@@passionfruit9710 lol! You can have blue eyes and still have dark hair. I've been doing hair 25 years. I saw her head when it was shaved, and her hair was definitely not a light color.
As if. You’ve bleached and damaged it so fucking often. Just because you managed to not further damage it in some color changes doesn’t mean you changed it so often without bleach and damage. I can’t with your Titels anymore.

Yeees me too

it was sooo esthetically pleasing to watch! the burgundy one is my fav 🥰

The red and blue was my favorite look on you and I've recreated and loved it back in 2021. ❤
That's amazing, Stella. You can wear them all.

This was such a nostalgic video ❤
So I said in a previous video I liked the darker colors on you more. I lied. This color is so insanely beautiful and looks fabulous on you!
I would love to see you do this but go all the way around the colour wheel 🥰
you look amazing in those reds ❤❤
What is the yellow stuff you put on? Is that hair color remover or semi permanent yellow hair dye?
Love how dimensional your color is. What brands are your favorite?

we need a video for this silver wig hairdo please Stella
@Stella Cini thank you so much for this! I always end up completely ruining my hair with bleach when changing colours 😣
Love this 💗💗
omg i luv it 😍
give a names of good brands
If I'm a medium brown, I still need to bleach it to go to a lighter shade correct? Love the way you explain colour theory!!
Yes, but if you're using permanent dye, it can lighten your hair a bit. This only applies to virgin hair
Yeah depending on the developer it can lighten the natural colour 2 to 4 shades. If hair is already dyed it would probably try to lift the colour out a bit, but not strong enough to lift colour out let alone lighten the base colour of the hair
can i do a green/aqua/turquoise over faded pink
yes, green will cover the pink immediately! I did this a while ago, I had pink money pieces and covered with emerald green
This is doable if the pink is light or faded, the red tones does neutralise green so you'd need to keep that in mind.
anyone knows the songs name ...played through the video ... I tried to follow the link in the description .. couldnt get anywhere
So if im a level 1 and my hair has the res pigment in it, how can i get to a blue?
quel sont les références du blond que tu porte dans cette vidéo stp ?
Amazing 🎉🎉🎉🎉
People who come here to assume her hair is damaged haven’t been around long enough to know she swam in the sea for days to naturally remove her hair color 😂
but, it still involved bleach
She specified she only used it to do her money pieces. Also she said that she bleached it once to lift 2 levels of colour.
My hair doesn't survive after bleaching. It's a natural level 6 but because of the small thickness, hair just breaks :( i could use semi-permanent dyes but hair become super dry. Thanks for genetics and stresses.
Semi permanent dyes are made out of conditioner and pigment so there is no way it could dry your hair out.

Didn't you used too be a model?
The first song ?
Вам с длинными лучше
So she makes new videos often by reusing old videos :D
So if I’m a 5 I have to go to 9 right one time
More like a level 5! Sorry ,but I've seen her natural color and there's no way that's a level 7! Mine's naturally level 6 and it's lighter than hers. She's beautiful, so it doesn't matter what a natural color is.
She is definitely a level 7. When light bleached hair is next to it, it will look darker. Mine is the same
We all have seen her natural color and it's a level 7 indeed 😊
🤦🏼♀️and you’re completely wrong,as others have corrected you.
She looks like a level 7 to me, plus she has blue eyes so naturally her hair is going to be light

This girl and her clickbaits
Why is it clickbait?
